Daily Character #035 - Shade the (Good) Heartless by JBWarrior

Ok, but if there’s one enemy type I like a lot, aesthetically - and given JB’s own species has some roots in said enemy - it has to be a Kingdom Hearts Shadow Heartless. Given that, it might not be as surprising there’s actually one such critter among the cast. :P Meet Shade, a Heartless in looks who’s actually not that bad. Kinda like when Sora got turned into a Heartless? Imagine this one was somehow only half as lucky and despite not succumbing to darkness, still kept his shadowy appearance. But when you’re as cute as he is… who cares? Apparently not him, just look how happy he is. :D As a KH Shadow he lacks a mouth, so he’s unable to actually speak. That isn’t to say he’s devoid of any voice, for the bracelet he wears was imbued with an enchantment to allow his thoughts to be heard. Both the Org. XIII robe and the magician clothes also have similar enchantments. :) You might find surprising this heartless often hangs out with a keyblade wielder. Yep, I do mean Shadow Enigma. The two became good friends, and perhaps this is why the cute little guy’s middle outfit is the same as his friend, only smaller. xP Ah, and the mage robe, as expected, also grants him the ability to cast some spells, too. Can’t forget that. :P
