Colors used: background cerulean blue with alizarin crimson added while still wet, drops of plain water added into crimson spots immediately after applied to push color pigments to the edges

Bird - neutral tint with alizarin crimson mixed in the darker spots and some cerulean blue mixed in the mid toned areas

Bird: burnt umber, ultra marine, neutral tint

Beak and background: cadmium yellow

Grass stalks: alizarin crimson and ultra marine

Hmmm, not sure if I should have made the branch darker to match the value of the bird, any thoughts?
