Ethos, Pathos & Logos:

ETHOS is one of my favorite section because its all about telling the truth! In order to have credibility on what you are saying it need to be true.

Homepage: I will introduce myself by giving true facts and not something I just made up…. like I’m actually famous..

Assignment Reflections: I will use my past assignments as prof of the information I am giving.

Reading Reflections: I will use ethos by using the E-Book and recommended links by the teacher. This sources are reliable and credible. 

PATHOS: 

I will focus on the use of color, sound, images, motivational appeals, use vivid or emotional language, and most importantly give a message with emotional impact.

Homepage: I will use picture and images of my self to describe my personality. I will also use appropriate fonts, sizes and colors so the reader can navigate more efficiently.

Assignment Reflection: In this section I will write about the struggles and obstacles I faced while making each assignment. This will add emotion and credibility to what I am saying.

LOGOS:

I will focus on the layout and organization of the home page, since it’s the first pages the reader is going to see. It need to be organized and simple to understand. I will use logic on how I arrange the website. 

Homepage: I will have my name in a bigger font to emphasize who’s the page is. I will also have a menu bar to inform the reader where they can find each section.

Assignment Reflection: I will specify each reflection to its assignment so I wont confuse the reader on what I am talking about. 

I will employ Ethos, Pathos, Logos as a designer:

Ethos: I will ensure I use credible sources on all my website. The use of good grammar and punctuations is very important.

Pathos: I will ensure the layout of my website is simple and east to use. I will use one or two neutral colors so it wont look to much. I will also use simple language so the reader wont have a hard time reading threw my website. 

Logos: I will arrange everything in a specific order so the reader wont have any problems. I will only have 3 pages, one for each topic needed.

Week 16: Ethos, Pathos, & Logos

I had already started the outline of my website to have an idea of what needs improvement and what else would I add to follow the rhetorical appeals appropriately.

Section B: 

As a writer, Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are very important factors that need to be considered when making a website like the one we are all doing for our final project.  Each of these appeals can be put together and guarantee you great outcomes for your website

Ethos is mainly about providing credibility, and as a writer I would follow this appeal by first creating my home page and provide enough details about me. Writing about my experience with writing and reading and even mentioning the name of the school I am attending to provides the details that will give credibility to my website. On the RWS e-book we have some questions that can help me think about stuff to write about myself and what details are necessary to mention. There is a minimum and a maximum number of words that we should follow so there is no extra words or it does not look like we didn’t provide enough information.

Another appeal that I would be considering as I write my website is Pathos. Pathos is more about adding emotion to our writing. I would be following this appeal by writing about everything that this RWS course has taught me about writing skills and development of myself in big assignments. The more I write about what I learned in the making of this major assignments and how it would help me in my future the more emotion I think I will add to my writing. I will provide enough details so the audience can relate and even learn something new from my experience throughout this course. I would also make it professionally enough for future references.

Last but not least, the appeal Logos is also very important because it would help me to emphasize my writing in a specific tone and fluency and not make it overwhelming and boring. I would follow this appeal by revising my grammar throughout my website and add consistency to each of the paragraphs that I will be adding. The logic added to my writing is important because I want to make sure everything I’m writing makes sense and it is not out of context. Make it as clear as water.....

Section C: As a designer!

3. Using these appeals will not only be important in my writing portion of my website, but also in how it is designed. The five principles of design will help be a lot on how to follow these appeals correctly.

I will be using the credibility of ethos in the design of my website by adding a picture of myself and adding a contact tab with my email. These details will add credibility to my website by actually putting a face to the creator of this reflexions. If they are any concerns the audience could easily contact me via email.

I will be using pathos by following the principle of designs,for example the balance principle consists of putting images and text in a way that does not seem overwhelmed. The more organized the design of my website the audience will have a better understanding of its consistency. As you noticed, I love pink and I tried to use it in a way that it attracts the emotions of the audience and have an idea of who I am. I started my website already and this is how it’s starting to look with all the tabs and a picture of me. 

The alignment and grouping principles would fit very well with the Logos appeal. These principles will help me to have the design of my paragraphs in order. Also, the use of contrast in my website will add clarity to identify titles, subtitles and paragraphs. These details will be very important for me to consider in order to add logic to my website along with the writing. I haven't done much of this portion, but I will be working on it until the submission day.

Week 15: Thinking about your website

Section A: Design principles applied?

In terms of balance, the website does a decent job. I do feel that most of the images and text are distributed in a way that they have equal weight. However, there are a few scenarios where this is not the case. For instance, the area at the bottom right corner (which contains twitter, google translator, and Skype) has three different sized boxes where I feel they should have all been of equal size.

In this site, contrast is used in areas such as the image and the explanation of what MemberVenue is. The image contains different color texts in order to described what is happening in the picture, whereas the section to the right of it explains what MemberVenue is and how much it costs to join.

The website is consistent. The reason I say this is because it uses the color yellow to make important information stand out as well as bolding the text. The rest of the site uses two shades of purple to stay uniform, but to also create differences between sections.

The website does not align the elements on the page very well. Sections should be aligned better, and not all over the place. Although the alignment is bad, the website does do a good job of grouping sections. Everything that should be together is together.

I do not feel that the website is effective in terms of its design. At a first glance, the website seems to be put together poorly with very little thought. Many elements of design are missing and the audience is left not understanding the purpose of the website.

When it comes to balance, on this website the designer does a very good job. The different images and text are distributed in ways that create a sense of equal weight.

Contrast is employed on this site by the use of five main sections. The sections are marked different from one another allowing the audience to quickly find what they need. The subheadings are in large text with the information underneath, making it easy to understand.

The website does a great job at creating consistency. By the use of five sections, the audience is able to navigate easily and in each section, elements resemble each other.  All of the headings are the same size, and you can tell the difference between them and the body text.

On this website, alignment was great. Every section had a sense of uniform and although they had different layouts, all of the elements were placed perfectly. In terms of grouping, the page made sure to keep the introduction and background information at the top that way the audience would understand just what they were going to see once they scrolled down. This was created in all five sections, and like items were put together very well.

Based on my analysis of the site in terms of design, the website was effective. The audience can easily navigate through the site and get their information effortless because it was all presented to them at the beginning with promotion at the end.

Section B: Implications for your own design:

In order to ensure that my website is balanced, I will make sure that each element of my page is equal to the other in terms of weight. This can be done by spreading out the content and using text and images that are relatively the same size or fit well together.

I will contrast my site by following the theme of the second website. By using different sized subheading text from the body text this can create the type of contrast needed.

Consistency on my website will be employed by the use of colors and same size font/style. Once the designer starts to use too many colors that do not match, or a bunch of different fonts the website becomes less effective.

By using alignment and grouping in my website the page will become more effective. This can be done by using multiple tools, not only on my mac but on different websites as well. I can create a template on a powerpoint, or piktochart to ensure all elements are aligned and grouped.

The colors that I will use for my website will most likely be black and white with a blue overlay.

Another way that I can ensure my website is well-designed is by looking at popular websites and implementing their elements on my page.

By reading how you analyzed the first website I can now really see what the page did correctly, because I couldn't really understand how the designer put all that information together. To me the whole website in general seem overwhelming and a terrible example to follow up. Concerning the second website I totally agree with you with all the aspects that you mention, and it is a great website to use as a guide. For our own website I would recommend you to make it more personal and original. Good luck!!

Week 15: Thinking about my website

Section A: DESIGN PRINCIPLES APPLIED?

WEBSITE A

1. This site does not demonstrate a good balance because the text is not distributed correctly. The information provided in this site is not organized and the quadrants of the page do not have equal weight of information. There is text all over the site and that would make the audience to overwhelm and not understand what is the purpose of the page.

2. This site does not seem to have definitive fonts styles nor sizes. You can’t really tell what is a title and what goes with what. The site uses a lot of different sizes for the fonts, and that also makes it really hard to read and understand. Some body text do have understandable font sizes, but it still makes the page look overwhelming and confusing. It was a bad decision to use so small font sizes. The creator did not follow up the contrast part in order to have different elements from one another and make a decent site.

3. Like I mentioned before, the site does not seem to have any title or I can’t really tell because there are a variety of font sizes and styles used. They are parts in the site where they use the same size font and style but they do not seem to have anything in common. I would evaluate the consistency of this site to have bad choices of font sizes which need a lot of improvements such as trying to add elements that resemble each other.

4. This site does not use grouping appropriately. The information added in this site is put together one by one without any type of separation. You can’t really tell if one paragraph or text goes with one another or not. The use of alignment is also not used correctly because paragraphs are added vertically and horizontally, which makes the page to look messy and hard to follow along.

5. Based on the analysis I made in terms of the principle of design, this site did not meet the requirements of any of the principles. Even before I read the five principle of design I thought the page was confusing and totally not a site that I would use as a guide to make my own. I couldn’t really see any effectiveness in this site, it all seems to be overwhelming and hard to understand.

WEBSITE B

1. The balance used in this site was used perfectly. The images and texts are distributed in a way that you can understand them and see clearly. Also, the use of tabs is really good because that way you can balance your information and not in a single page where it can be overwhelming. I really like how the creator organized and balanced each of the tabs with the appropriate information.

2. Contrast in employed on the site by using different font sizes for titles and body texts. The use of fonts style is almost the same for the whole page but it really does no look bad because the different size font helps to differentiate what is a title and a body text. Also, the colors used by the site are helpful to identify different aspects of the site.

3. I would evaluate the sites consistency to be ideal. All the titles are written in capital letters resembling each other. The same font style and size is used for all body texts. The use of consistency makes the site look neat and professional.

4. The sites utilization of groping is identified very clear. As you go through the tabs you can notice that the creator of the site added a single tab of images grouped with other images and videos with only a little amount of text. Here the creator knew exactly how to group his information. The use of alignment is this site is also very well done because it does not mix elements that are horizontally and vertically, only one. There are some images perfectly align with text and that also makes it look neat and with style.

5. Based on the analysis in terms of the principles of design this site met all the requirements. While I was going through the site I thought I looked very professional and would connect perfectly with each of the five principle of design. The information and other aspects of the page are very well done, and easy to understand. The colors, fonts styles and sizes used in the site are the key elements that makes of this website the perfect guide to make your own.

Section B: Implications for you own design 

1. What I’m I going to do to ensure that my website is balanced is to distribute my information in equal weight throughout the site. I am probably adding tabs so it does not look overwhelming and it is easier to understand. I would also add images but only if needed. I want my website to look neat and not have more information than I should, so I would try to balance as much as I can.

2.  I would use contrast on my website by not using a lot different font sizes and styles. I am going to stick to maybe two different font styles and sizes for the titles and body texts. This is going to make it easier for the audience to identify the different elements that I am going to add.  I would try to make the contrast of my website neat and professional.

 3. I am going to employ consistency on my website by adding images that are the same size and stick to one font style and size for the heading so they are easy to identify. I also want to stick to the consistency of the colors used throughout by site by using the same colors in th different tabs that I’m adding.

4. I would use grouping by putting together information that is alike and complements each other. The tabs are very useful in order to group the information appropriately. Alignment is also a very important principle which I will follow by putting my information horizontally or vertically, which ever I feel more satisfied with.

5. The colors I would want to use for my website would be colors that are not irritating to the eyes and easy to see my text throughout the site. I would also choose colors that I can identify myself with. It is important that the colors I used are not irritating because it would then be hard for the audience to read.

5. Other ways that would ensure my website is well-designed is by looking up more websites done correctly and have an idea of what a good website looks like. It is also important to make my own style and demonstrate my originality. The page I am going to make is really about my whole semester so I am going to try my best to resemble myself throughout the website.

Now that I have analyze this websites and think about what I am going to do with my own website, I feel prepared and ready to start this last assignment.

Week 14

As this is a BIG assignment, we will need to dedicate enough time to complete it! I will be working on it on Mondays, Tuesdays and a little bit on Thursdays.

Little by little.. 

Since we are only 2 persons in our group, we will be working on Mondays at 10:20 and on Tuesdays at noon. 

I will be working on my own on my free time when I am not at work.

We will be preparing for the presentation. We will be dividing our task and working together on the most important. We would be defining our style, preparing our intro good research, advocating, the use of Ethos, Pathos and Logos, and the Conclusion. 

I will do intense research on the topic so I can explain it fully on the presentation. 

I am most concerned over the information we will be presented. I want to make our statement clear, let the audience understand our point of view and the message we are trying to transmit. 

We will use the E Book to help us arrange our presentation. 

I am more confident on our poster! I like how it is arrange and is straight forward with the information. 

I also feel comfortable with our topic. I have learned a lot from it and I think a can explained it with clarity.

It’s great that you guys are managing to get the poster done!! Don’t be stressed about the information your group will present, just make sure it is not overwhelming and the info provided is of vital importance. If your group topic is almost the same as the one from the Lit Review you should look up the articles there and that will serve you as a guidance on what to include on your research poster. I hope you guys do a great job when presenting and finishing the project!!! Loved the gifs btw.

Week 14: Creating a plan for action

Since the day the project was assigned, my group and I have managed very well to work on it. We have been meeting once or twice a week, and it is usually a two-hour meeting.

a. Working on the research poster since day one has helped us as a group to get the project going and do not fall behind. For future meetings we are committing to the project on the same days that we have set it before. It may be possible that the committed hours or days could extend in case there is any extra work we have to finish.

b. The research we made individually for the Lit Review has helped us to complete our research poster as a group. The information we are including on the research poster comes from the sources we found by ourselves according to our topic. I can say that Thursdays and Fridays are the days when I work alone. Our group meetings are on Mondays from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and some class time on Wednesdays. These days would be the time when we put together all the research we found and build it up little by little.

c. Individually, I will concentrate on looking for the appropriate information to include on the research poster. There are no specific sections we work day by day, we usually look at the sections that we need to work on more and try to make it better each day. For future meetings we are now concentrating on finishing our Introduction, which includes our thesis. We are also planning to work on finishing the presentation for the research poster. This will be done on the next meeting on Monday.

d. When I did my Lit Review I looked for a lot of sources which could be very helpful for my group to include some information from there. What I am planning to do to get the aspects mentioned before is to get the quotes that match with our group project and talk about them to my group mates. We will commit to meet on the days mentioned before in order to complete our project in time.

e. The Research Poster was kind of a confusing project at first, but working as a group was easier for me to understand the requirements. However, there is still some aspects of the project that I do not completely understand and this would be the introduction and founding images that correlate to our topic. We already have some part finished from the introduction, but we are not sure if it’s supposed to be own knowledge put together as the thesis or the information we put on the contract for the objective part. Also, we have had some trouble finding some images to show our ethos.

 f. I am really comfortable with almost all the aspects of the assignment but specially the topic our group got to make, because I feel that we are now putting the information all together and working as a group. The long process of doing the Lit Review filled us with knowledge from our topics that we are now putting together to inform other about our topics.

Week 13: Analyzing Research Poster and Implications for your own design

Section A: Analyzing Research Poster

Internet Inequality: The impact of home internet access on school success 

This poster is similar to the one we need to create. Like ours, this poster is divided into sections for example: background, results, and conclusion to discuss the topic. This poster, however, is missing the sources/references section and ours is not required from an abstract nor a methodology sections. This poster and ours are similar in that they must include  images and/or data graphs that are representative of our research.

The purpose of the poster is to inform about the effects on academic performance of students who have and those who lack from internet access at home. The research poster also focuses on the comparison between Hispanic/non-white and White students’ academic performance due to mostly economic reasons. This causes the poster to be very straightforward and clear in it’s purpose.

The intended audience for this poster are families that lack internet usage at home, Hispanic parents, Hispanics in general, non-white parents, non-white students, teachers, school districts, and English speaking communities. The topic seems to fit these audiences because it uses the words to refer to specific societies such as “Hispanics” and “non-white” to referred to the students being affected.  

The ethos of this poster is established by the mentioning of the University of Texas at Austin. This provides credibility because it makes the reader believe that the information is, in fact, not fraudulent or made up. It is effective because UT Austin is a very recognized university that it would be hard not to believe what they are saying.  

This poster displayed pathos by using an image. In this image, we can see several students using at a computer lab, however, there is a boy, that seems Hispanic, struggling in front of a computer and he is the only one being assisted. The image can be interpreted as how students could be struggling in school due to the lack of internet use at home. This creates an emotional response from the readers. 

The Logos of the poster were presented by the graphs and facts provided by the authors. The authors used data to create statistics to persuade the readers by logic.

Section B: Implications for my own research poster

I will use the poster as a guide towards designing my own. This research poster is very easy to read and it is visually appealing. I will definitely use this poster as inspiration to design my own. I want my poster to be as clear and as appealing as this one. I like the colors they used because it grabs the attention and at the same time it looks profesional. My group and I will each work hard to make sure this is achieved and that our purpose is understood.

Now that I have evaluated this poster my group’s outline has changed because now I have a clearer idea of what it is expected from our poster. I now  have a better perspective of how to arrange the sections to avoid making it too heavy on words. This will also change the outline since I have realized how the author used all three rhetorical appeals to get their message across and its effectiveness. This poster has also changed my group’s outline because it has given us an idea of how the final project will have to look.

I totally agree with you in the fact that is missing a sources section, which I think it is very important to add credibility to the poster. Week 13: Analyzing Research Poster and Implications for my own design

It is now time to analyze and figure out how to make my own research poster......

Section A: Analyzing a Research Poster

1. Effects of Electrical stimulation on Schwann cell migration on polypyrrole substrate 

2. This poster is similar from the requirements for our own research poster in how the information is structured. For example it includes introduction, title, author, results, and conclusion. This poster provides short but precise paragraphs that are understandable which are also a requirement for our own research poster. Other requirement similarities are that in this poster they include images, colors, different fonts for titles and subtitles, which are helpful for the audience to read and have a better understanding of the poster. The requirement differences between this poster and our own is that the Intro is more of a background and a question-based information. Also, this poster provides the methods used and ours only requires the results because the topics for the poster are different. The information from this poster is more of science-method and our info would be more of a persuasive information.

3. The purpose of the poster is to show the effects of an electrical stimulation to cure nerve injuries and actually show how and why is it done like this and under what circumstances. The purpose of actually informing the audience is well done because they provide images showing the treatments and the methods of how can this nerve injury can be repaired. What they missed to include in this poster is the why does this nerve injury occur, and how to prevent it.

4. The intended audience for this poster is people with knowledge in biology because they include images that only people that know about biology would understand. Also, other intended audience for this poster would be people who are interested in knowing more about nerve injuries and how can it be repaired, because the poster also includes information that is understandable for someone not knowledgeable in science. The intended audience would also have to be young adults/adults because of the elevated level of information this poster includes, which a child would not understand.

5. This poster display ethos by including the schools in which this poster got the information from. These schools seem to be biology-related so they are really effective when it comes to providing credibility to the information. Also, it includes the names of the people who created these posters (Authors). This type of information provides trustworthiness because people can easily look for the schools and the authors to see if they are knowledgeable people.

6. This poster displays pathos by providing trustworthiness by the authors, and intellectual information which is not very effective. It is not effective because after providing all this information they ended with a conclusion of “hoping to” which displays confusion about the possibilities of this methods actually working.

7. This poster displays logos by providing a well structured and understandable poster, and this is effective because the audience could easily follow through. The sentences provided in this poster are also very straightforward, which helps the audience to understand the purpose of this poster. The only thing that this poster seemed to fail according to logos is the font size, which is not very clear and hard to understand the sentences.

 Section B: Implications for your own research poster

1. I will use the sample and my own analysis towards guiding my own group research poster by following the structure and all the things that this poster seem to have in common with mine. Also, I really liked how the information was structured, in a way that it is not overwhelming. It also provides the sufficient images with its short but understandable text. My group and I may not do the same structure used in this poster, but I think it does gives us and idea of what a good poster can look like.

2. Our research poster outline was changed in a way that it gives us an idea of how an effective research poster should be done. At first, we were confused on how to structure the information but analyzing this poster gave us an idea of what should and should not be done according to ethos, pathos, and logos. Using the Rhetorical appeals to analyze this poster also helped me to follow the same analysis when it comes to my research poster.

Week 12: Reflection

The literature research paper was not difficult to write but it was time consuming.

This research helped me realize that the nursing field is not ethnically diverse. Minorities are increasing slowly and it is good to have diversity in the workforce because it can improve quality care of a patient. A lot of time had to be dedicated to this assignment in order to get the best possible grade. It was very stressful at times. Conducting the interview was not difficult for me since I was via email. I would of liked to conduct a face to face interview to get more information but my scholar answered all my questions. Since it was through email it was easy to to quote my scholar

What I learned is important in the future because here in El Paso Hispanics are the majority but in other places we are the minority. Hispanic people do not have many barriers here but once we move to other places barriers might be created. This is why it is good to be informed of how diverse the nursing field is, it helps us be prepared for the future.

This is my second research paper and writing this paper helped me fully understand the APA requirements. This will probably not be the last paper I write so I will use what I have learned from this experience and apply it to the papers I will write in the future. When i receive feedback on this paper I will also use it to see what I need to maintain and improve.

I also researched about Hispanics in nursing field!!!! And I agree with you that this assignment was time consuming, but it sure taught us a lot about the impact that Hispanics can have in the field. I had the opportunity to interview the Dean of the School of nursing and I really learned a lot about him and how a Hispanic being in that position can influence other Hispanic nurses to pursue their goals. We just have to remember that we are all together in this and keep encouraging each other to put an end in the lack of diversity. I think you did a great job reflection your thoughts in this post, and I can tell you that I totally felt the same way you did while doing this assignment. Good luck on you next assignments!!!!

Week 12: Reflecting on our research skills.

I finally got to finish my Lit Review..... now its time for some reflection 

WHAT?

First of all, this course has taught me a lot about how to make the appropriate research for a type of assignment like the literature Review. The fact that I conducted a primary research was a completely new experience for me, because I never imagined that this interview would benefit on being more informed about the nursing field’s diversity and my future as a nurse. My semester topic which is racial diversity among Hispanics in the US nursing programs has taught me that many years ago diversity among Hispanics was not diversified enough to provide a high-quality health care. Today, diversity is a more important factor for nursing programs and it is also not a big issue anymore, but that does not mean there are still some places that are in need of diversity in the nursing programs.

SO WHAT? 

At first, I thought I would be overwhelmed with so much information, but I really liked how one assignment would lead us to another until we could finish the literature review without any rush. This is important because now I know I am prepared to make an assignment like the Lit Review and be able to organize my work appropriately. The research I made taught me about my future and the things I might face in my career, which also helped me to be related to the type of information I might found when researching about a different topic. Before doing this much research about diversity among Hispanics in the nursing field I did not know the significance of having a diverse field. As a Hispanic, all the information that I found encouraged me to keep pursuing my goals of becoming a nurse no matter the difficulties of being part of a non-diverse field. I think it is also important to not let the word “minority” affect our position in whatever our goals are.

NOW WHAT?

Now that I am more informed about the impact that diversity makes among nursing programs I would encourage myself to also be part of that percent of Hispanics on nursing field. A. Assignment requirements

Methods

 1. Purpose of your primary research:

 Make sure to title your research

Have a statement explaining what you hoped to learn

 2. Methods used to conduct your primary research 

The who, what, when, how, and what.

3. Results of your primary research:

How the interview results tie in with the rest of material.

Detailed statement telling your audience how the responses will be discussed throughout the paper.

4. Implications of your primary research

How interview results relate to your other sources.

Relate the results to the community or a to bigger scale.

Interview Material 

1. Begins with requesting an interview from your list of picked scholars.

2. Once you receive a response, make sure to follow up with an “Interview Confirmation”

Include your research questions, scholarly articles, and interview release form.

3. Remember to have your interview materials for recording 

 Phone, paper, pencil, etc.

4.  Reminders 

Dress the part (nothing too fancy). 

Act professional and have fun. 

Bring a copy of the “Interview Release Form”.

5. During the interview do not worry about writing every single thing down. Write points that stand out, and remember that you will have a recording.

Week 11: Introduction and In-text Citations

Introduction:

1.      The introduction(s) for the Literature Review must include:

 Background information from the topic

 A clear statement of purpose

The stated research question(s) in bullet form

Thesis statement

Written in third person

APA format

In-Text Citations:

1.      Assignment requirement for In-text citation for the Literature Review:

 APA Formatting

Author’s last name

The year of publication

The page number where available

If no author, cite the source by its title in the signal phrase or use the first word or two in the parentheses

 A work by two or five author should name all authors and use the word “and” between the last two authors name in the signal phrase or parenthesis

Six or more authors should use the first author´s name followed by “et al” in the signal phrase or parenthesis

 If source does not have a page number, reference the source by its paragraph number

For interviews cite the communicators name (Initial and Last name), a comma and then the fact that it was “personal communication”, and the date of the communication (Month Day , Year)

 For Direct quotes: cite author in the signal phrase or after quotation citation, but author and date should always be together

 For paraphrasing: even if it’s not in quotation, it is needed to cite the source of your information

I think you did a great job documenting you interview preparation!!!  

Just a couple details.....For the interview request, you should have sent the email and take a screenshot of the email that was already sent ( only a suggestion for you to show more proof that you sent it) .  I also noticed you didn't include the source quote two times: one by itself and the other one that follows the interview question. I don´t think it causes any problem, but that was one of the steps for drafting you Interview Question.

Preparing for Interview

The fist step is to show proof of my interview request, which is already sent and ready to receive a response....

Second step is to show proof that my Interview Release Form was read, downloaded, and saved into my DB account

I think you did a great job for most of you interview question as far as I know. Only for interview question #3 you should not use the “do you agree”, I had that really in mind because professor Cisneros told us that detail in class. For your APA source citation, you are missing the volume number and the page range of the article. Also, just so it is not confusing to read, try to eliminate those spaces between the quotes you used, so its look neatly. I hope some of my advice would help you :) I really liked you interview questions!!! great job

After finishing my interview questions I felt very excited for what the scholars I am interviewing are going to answer. His answers are really important to me because I would have an idea of the magnitude of the lack of racial diversity in the nursing field.
