if it helps you, under the cut is a tutorial/script/tool i found to convert your gifs to webp. if you are a multimuse blog that uses gifs for rping, and you save them in your device, this can help you lower down the size of your gif folder. like this is one of my gif folder before:

and since i have multis with over 20+ muses, this is definitely a big help.

Download and install FFmpeg (check this for help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpCE1gkVw_w)

Open notepad and paste: for %%a in ("*.gif") do ffmpeg -i "%%a" -vcodec webp -loop 0 -pix_fmt yuv420p "webp/%%~na.webp"

Save above as .bat file (example converter.bat)

Place above file in the folder with your gifs.

Create additional folder in that location called "webp" (note: name of this folder can be changed or removed completely from the above code in "webp/%%~na.webp", I just find it easier to divide original gifs from webp files)

Double click on .bat file to execute it

it still takes time to process the gifs. but if you have a powerful enough pc, you can run like 5 at once to make it faster.
