another empty space. another lapse. panic creeps through him. sharp inhale. a quiet — ‘ marc ? that… what happened? ‘

                        he knew the moment he was back.    although muted in the back of their body’s mind,     his own thoughts a chamber that nonetheless still echoed inside of them.     it was like waking up,     but without the invigoration of sleep.     their body was still tired,     he could vaguely get a sense of the soreness in their muscles.     still,     at least he wasn’t wading through the void he has come to recognise as the presence of another entity.     at least now his existence was a tad more substantial,     tangible.    he spoke with some difficulty,    again his consciousness dragging itself near enough to the front so that he might respond.     i was gone.     blacked out again.     he knew better now than to assume his lapse was of steven’s making.     you alright?     it looks like we made a big mess.
