Something I have yet to grasp as an artist is how to think with shapes. It was one of my weaknesses in art school, and I always approached painting from a linear perspective. But I don't understand how...to think...in shapes? Or what the difference is between line and shape when it comes to thinking. Or maybe I'm overthinking the whole thing lol

Actually, maybe I don't even think visually. I mean, I can't even picture things in my minds eye so I'm just drawing based on knowledge and what I can see as opposed to what I want to see.

Being an artist is weird and being a tired artist is painfully anyways get ready for some grade school level shape exercises as I try to retrain my brain
