"I am the daughter of a fisherman but I am destined for something greater."
Another one-shot character! Zeralynn has a simple story but she was incredibly fun to play. She has/will get a gf who I plan on playing in another one-shot.
Zeralynn's story is quite simple since the one-shot was more combat focused. She's a half-elf Aasimar born of a human father and elven mother in a small fishing village. Due to being born an Aasimar she has unnatural beauty and some magical abilities. The village boys constantly tried to court her but she was never interested. Despite her noble-like beauty she is very tomboyish, has the mouth of a sailor, and loves a good fight. She learned to fight to help her father fend off pirates from their fishing vessel and thus her weapon of choice is a makeshift spear made of a harpoon from their ship and her shield is a modified barrel lid. In her late teenage/early adult years she was well known in her village as the best fighter, even beating up the village chief's son multiple times when they sparred. He tried to court her many times but each time she knocked him to the ground so he eventually gave up, unable to best her. No one realized she just wasn't interested in boys. Eventually she also learned to harness her latent magical abilities to aid in her fighting style, which manifests in the form of a shadowy echo and a dark necrotic shroud. She still maintains a relatively light hearted personality in contrast to her seemingly dark powers however. With her powers and battle prowess (and possibly after having met a beautiful woman that came out of the sea) she realized there is so much to see in the world and she may be destined to do more than simply become a fisherman. And thus she picked herself up, waved her parents and town goodbye, and headed out for adventure.
"To be beautiful is to be worthy of love."
My character for a criminal/villain one-shot I played in a little while ago. Their name is Tchaerysh [read: Cherish] and they are a serial killer/thief obsessed with beauty.
They are genderless but choose to dress in feminine styles because that is what they believe is beautiful. Their mother was a brothel worker that dolled herself up each night for a living. Tchaerysh equated their beauty to their worth and when their mother was found murdered one night they simply thought "maybe you just weren't beautiful enough, mother." Orphaned and alone, they developed a habit of thievery for anything beautiful and eventually the law caught up to them. Left for dead much like their late mother and heavily scarred they vowed to seek vengeance against the authorities that robbed them of their beauty. They became a sort of organized crime lord with the goal of pulling off large heists to attract the city guards that Tchaerysh would then carve up with the same wound they suffered from, a message to the city officials.
That's just the gist of Tchaerysh's story. If anyone is interested I'd love to do a stream someday to go over my characters' stories, builds, and designs and my though process behind them.
My DND party is at a banquet and my little nameless Tabaxi rogue has to wear a cute little suit. He hid his daggers in his fluffy tail, stuffed his face full of pastries, and robbed a bunch of nobles (nat20 babyyyy)
HALA HALA x HALAZIA
Been a while since I painted anything like this so it was really fun! I was super inspired by the ATEEZ comeback and painted this for a print for ALA. God I love drawing San so much.
Made a list of merch I want to make for ALA and out of all things I'm a bit surprised that the first items I had the motivation to work on is Gotham Knights related. I really didn't expect to like this game as much as I do but idk it's so fun despite its flaws.
DND notebook
bought this cool notebook to use for DND. I personally like to take physical notes and also being able to draw certain things helps my brain visualize and remember things better than typing it
First time playing DnD. Here's my nameless Tabaxi rogue. He's small (for a Tabaxi), malnourished, and feral.
We just had our first session and I'm really enjoying it! I have a lot to learn but I'm having a lot of fun. Can't wait to tell his story!
(Yes he is nameless for a reason)
hi
I used to use tumblr before getting a twitter but now everyone is back on tumblr so I thought I'd try this out again too. It been a few years since I've been here to forgive me if I'm a bit out of the loop.
I'm still debating what I wanna use this blog for but I'll most likely do the same as I would on twitter which means you'll see certain life updates, my art/cosplays, and the occasional stream announcement. I may make a second blog for my interests so I don't spam main that will be more reblogs of anime, gaming, and especially Kpop content.
Man it's so nice not being limited to 240 characters. tumblr has always been more for me tbh so hopefully it'll be nice to be back.
