To clarify, my story has a clan system and politics that are designed to fit within the Mass Effect canon, not the new movies, so I'm using characters that are separate from the new movies' canon.

Regarding this mini-plot, Ontos became mentor for Dek between the games (though it's not entirely crucial), as Dek was effectively left without a clan, but he's not completely stupid enough to be a Dirtyblooded. So he mentors him. Ontos has his own children, but he's fulfilled his fatherly duty, and they also have their own mentors, for the prosperity of the entire clan, not just one family.

It's okay to write something about new films to me, i don't know much

Ive been thinking about their meet (i haven't seen the movie yet sorry if I've got anything wrong)

Ontos as older one definitely will be surprised by his look and that yaujas now look so small...(And because i don't like redesign from new movies) Also he thinks Dek isn't adult enough and surprised that he hasn't become a new clan leader. Because in my canon you can't just leave the clan, so Ontos is really confused by this young one.

Sorry if it has poor structure it's hard to think sometimes 🥲

i really like how Taruhk’qua and Kwei were so close!

i can't help but think Taru felt as if Kwei choose Dek over them, but really, wouldn't Kwei have just put the love he felt with Taru toward Dek, as a positive cycle for once, only that his brother doesn't see it that way? I can't wait to see the messiness between the brothers

I’ll be honest, this started out as me just wanting someone looking out for Kwei so why not make it an ELDEST brother right😆

I’m still working out the details of Taruhk’qua and Kwei’s relationship and how Dek fits into that picture but i will say that Taruhk’qua is complicated.

He’s definitely got some sort of chip on his shoulder with how Kwei and Dek got so close. It’s personal, but he’s not really recognized why yet.

Ah, it will be messy though which I’m excited to dig into 😁✨
