One thing I love about the predator fandom is that people are always turning their faves into yautja

Friends, what do you call the ‘nose’ area of a yautja?? I always call it a ‘nasal ridge’ ? In my writing but that’s starting to get repetitive and also it’s not that accurate— any suggestions??
These are my fav dek drawings I did during school last year! One of them isn’t dek and a couple of these never got finished but I still love them :3
These are my very first predator drawings 😭😭 they look so funky but I’m gonna post more of my good ones soon
I feel kinda dumb not liking the “kwei would do anything for dek” trope, that the fandom loves so much, bc it can so easily be supported by canon.
At the same time I guess I didn’t see it that way when I watched it the first time. All I saw was an older brother giving his younger brother a chance to prove himself.
Kwei felt so well adjusted. He was older and more experienced but I never saw his actions as being any sort of push-over/“can’t say ‘no’ to my little brother”.
He was acting as a mentor. And a mentor tests. He will say no because he wants his pupil to REALLY mean it.
“You are not Father, you are Dek.”
Dek should have been hunting the Kalisk for his own, not to win over his father. That is why I think Kwei “forbade” him initially.
