Kickass is shutting dowm.

The group will be shutting down. We had a nice attempt. But there are certain issues arising that had not been foreseen. And conflicts within the admins. Roleplay prompt: Firkle woke up on a crisp cold October morning around 7 am, he climbed out of bed to get ready for school that he dearly hates. He looked at himself in the mirror, combing through his hair with his fingers since he hates hairbrushes in his hair. When he was done brushing his hair and getting dressed for school he looked at his phone and saw that his birthday was today. He didn’t receive any texts from his only 3 friends at his school, he didn’t think much of it since he didn’t care for much about his birthday anyway.

He went to the usual hang out spot at the side of the high school to where his friends are, the goth friends since childhood that he only gives a shit about. As soon Firkle went to that hang out spot, he sat down next to Michael and whipped out a cigarette to smoke before class starts. He noticed that his friends looked at him strangely, the short freshman looked them “What?”. He then hear Henrietta approach him with a new nice switchblade, softly grinning “Happy birthday, Firkle.”

Firkle took the switchblade, and inspected it, got up to hug Henrietta and hugged her. “Thank you, I thought you guys forgot even though I didn’t care my birthday that much.” ~.~.~ This has been accepted!

Roleplay prompt: Just as things seemed to be finally looking up, her college coursework was in order, the chaos of her job mellowing. The whisp of a thought that kept her calm in the frostbitten Frebruary was her birthday, the day of love was often times celebrated by people that without even a thought towards her birthday. The morning in itself was a disappointment to the platinum blonde, no texts, nothing. Not even a message from Mike. Her parents usually said it in the morning to her, but today was barren. Lifeless, void of the two words that brightened the dead winter for her.

Upon leaving her house, on a quest to go to work, she came to a screeching halt. A vivid color, shining withing a dull white blanket. Thomas’ mother was busy at work, more often than not, so Thomas wasn’t jarred when she didn’t text a happy birthday that morning. School didn’t bother him, either; he was a boy who kept to himself, or at least tried to, when the daily vocal tics didn’t make it fucking impossible. Most of his classmates were used to him by now, but it didn’t stop them from looking over every time his voice rose above his whisper of a speaking voice into short, sharp barks of curses. This time, a relatively tame three fucks in a row and a sharp jerk of his head to the left, like clockwork. His father not getting in touch stung a little more, but it was okay. He could cope. By the end of the day, he had decided to stop caring. It didn’t entirely work. But when his mother came in that night, looking exhausted, he said nothing-nothing but fuckfuckfuck! and she’d ruffled his hair before drifting to her bedroom, to bed, like a ghost, a figment of his imagination. I’m trying out for Craig!!

Craig entered his bedroom, slamming the door behind him in frustration and threw himself on the bed. Yeah he usually hates all the birthday singing, punches and just the whole ‘this is a big deal’ reaction it gets but not even one happy birthday? He hated to admit it but he missed it and he was absolutely furious and a little hurt that his friends forgot it was today. He flipped over on his bed and dug his phone out of his pocket, checking one last time for any late happy birthday texts but the only thing he received was ‘hey we’re short staffed can you come in today?’ From the old boss man. “Perfect” he muttered “just perfect. Fuck.” He sighed and got up from bed. He didn’t have any other plans for tonight since everyone’s too busy to even notice what today is so going to work could pass the time and hopefully keep his mind off of things. Once he was dressed in uniform he grabbed his keys and phone then went off. The entire ride there he couldn’t help but over think the whole situation. Did he say something? He talks a lot of crap but his friends know he’s joking, right? Do they hate him? Want to stop being friends with him? His gut was twisted into knots by the time he got to work. He parked and turned the car off just sitting there at first debating on going back home. He tightened his grip on the steering wheel and took a deep breath, and jumped out the car. Making his way to the doors he noticed how empty the lot was and how dark it was inside the store. He was filled with confusion- until he opened the doors and the lights flickered on and all his friends and half of the town jumped out screaming ‘SURPRISE!’ Of course he let out a whimpy scream but god he couldn’t hold back a huge grin. He didn’t care if it ruined the illusion or his reputation of being the emotionless prick that you never mess with. He was in a state of pure and complete delight. All of the anxious thoughts from before just washed away and all he could think about is how greatful he is to have his idiot friends. (I think Craig’s more of a soft hearted nerd who puts on a show to scare people away because he doesn’t feel comfortable with most social situations) ~.~.~ You’re in! How could they forget? How could Gary’s own family forget? People at school? Sure. He was never really close to anyone there to begin with. But his own family? Now that hurt. That cut Gary deep as he waited in his room for them to say something. Anything about the Mormon’s birthday.

He waited that morning during breakfast. He waited when they were out shopping and doing other miscellaneous things. He even waited when they were volunteering. And still nothing.

After dinner, Gary had rushed up into his room, locking the door. He closed the blinds for his bedroom and changed into some pyjamas. He curled up in bed and just started crying. He cried until there were no tears left, hoping for a better tomorrow. ~.~.~ This has been accepted!

David of course had to work on his birthday, his parents needed him at the restaurant, he was slaving in the back with eyes locked on miscellaneous steps of preparing the food for the table he was working on. When he saw an oddity, his Mothering coming through the back door? She always came in through the front. He ended up working through the night, quickly before the end of the night. He had thought everyone had forgotten at this point, he didn’t mind he had to work, and couldn’t do anything anyways. But that’s when he exited the kitchen after cleaning up, the lights were out… “That’s… strange…” He mumbled as he walked towards the light switch, flicking them on. He saw the staff sat in a pattern with a sign that said ‘Happy Birthday Mijo!’ which brought a smile to his lips. “Thank you all…” He was tearing up, he’s a softie like that. He quickly ran over, and gave his mother the biggest hug he’s ever given. ~.~.~ This has been accepted!

Tweek had woken up from his sleep with a jolt as his father’s voice boomed through the room. “Tweek! Hurry up if we’re going to open the coffee shop on time!” And with that, he was once again left alone in the bedroom.  ‘Work.. I don’t even get the day off?!’ He questioned in his own mind. Somehow, that shouldn’t even surprise him, so he stumbled out of bed to rush and grab his clothing so he could help open up for the day. Before heading out the door, his hand extended to grab his phone and check his messages. Nothing… nothing new. That was weird. Usually the guys messaged him on his birthday. This time, nothing. Not even a single message. 

The phone was slid into his pocket as he tried to think of why everyone seems to have forgotten it. Oh god..was it the wrong day? What if they forgot about him? Did his friends no longer care? The panic began to swell up in his chest. “GAHH! T-They all for-g-got!! I can’t believe t-this! Am I that forgettable?” His breathing increased steadily as he sat himself down. His dad standing in his door way once again. 

“Tweek, hurry up or we’re going to be late. Everyone is expecting our fresh coffee.”

Guess that’s how today was going to be, what a terrible start to the day. ~.~.~ This has been accepted!

Kevin staggered out of his car, slamming the door shut as he took another swig of his beer. What a fucking shitty day. From start to finish. He was late to work, got berated by his boss, had to deal with shitty customers, and to top it off, no one had wished him a happy birthday. Not at work or at the bar. Hell, not even Kenny or Karen had wished him one, which pissed him off the most.

So he was home now, drunk off his ass as he staggered towards the door, fumbling with the keys as he tried to unlock the door. ‘Fucking bitch’ he thought to himself as he continued to fumble with them, finally succeeding as he threw the door open to his shitty little apartment, moving over to the fridge and pulling out another beer. No one cared that it was his birthday? Then no one would care that he would be getting blackout drunk tonight ~.~.~ This has been accepted!

“Whatever. I don’t really care.” Heidi said with a frigid delivery. The sound echoed some. Nobody else was around to hear. By then the school had pretty much emptied. All except her. Where would she go? Sure she’d regained her grades, a fraction of her looks, her pride. But at quite the cost. Now she was alone. And on her birthday too. Did it bother her? A little. Could she do anything? Not really.

At least my parents remembered, she thought rolling her eyes. The moment she rose that morning she was assaulted by the smell of homemade pancakes. God she loved them–but they could be too much. Smothering her in nothing but affection. Teaching her nothing as far as making friends. And here she was, alone on her birthday, with nothing she thought worth celebrating.  ~~

His parents not saying a word to him about his birthday had already put Butters in a sour mood when he entered the school that morning-he’d slammed his locker and pouted, fuming as he kicked the pristine snowfall around in the most harmless of tantrums. However, his anger switched to dismay, and then hurt, when the rest of the day passed uneventfully, without a single peep to him about his special day; his name hadn’t even made it onto the announcements! Out of all of his friends, not one of the fellas had bothered to remember? He knew better than to let the guys get under his skin and upset him, but being blatantly forgotten….it felt like a stab to the chest. Fuck those guys if they thought they were getting any of his extra snacks for the next month. He didn’t say a word to anyone all through lunch, just grunted an angry “Hmph!” Whenever they attempted to make conversation, his good eye pointedly turned away from all of them while he waited for someone to make the connection and realize what was wrong. It didn’t happen. He couldn’t decide if he should be mad, or just plain hurt, and fumed at his phone the entire walk home. At least Facebook knew what was up. ~ We’d love to have you join.
