Does Caine have an issue with cursing in your AU?

You mean, himself or anyone else cursing?

He doesn't curse himself, other than the occasional "dammit", but he's not about to police every mortal's potty mouth lol. Pomni swears when she gets frustrated, and he just lets her go off.

Caine in this universe isn't held back in the same way as Canon! Caine is. TADC Caine, now that we've seen episode 9, had the perfectionism of AI #2 (ie Blue) that, in my opinion, was the root of his desire to keep things "perfect", hence the need to keep things family friendly. I doubt he kept the censoring up once he promised them the Open World rules at the end.

hellooo!! i was wondering if its okay to make fan-art or mini comic strips off ur au with credits? ik u said fan art is fine (with credits ofc) but the comic part i jst wanna check i dont want to idk make anyone sad- oh and i saw sm1 ask if u'll make any changes to the story cuz of episode 9 and since goose confirmed jax is a closeted trans so will you be using gender fluid pronouns for him in the story or are you going to stick to one set? ty hope im not bothering u or anythinggg!!:3

As for changes, the only changes I'll be making are anything that have to do with Ribbit and Kaufmo's BGs with Jax, and Jax' BG. Not much, since their relationships with Jax DO differ to the ones they have with Jax in the show, given the environment is far different, and I had to switch things about with characters to get the relationship effects I needed for him, but Episode 9 DID help me fill in some holes. Ribbit's relationship with her parents though, definitely helps with the sequel I have in mind, if I ever get that far.

As for Jax' pronouns, for the sake of clarity and story continuity, he will continue to be referred to as he/him throughout TATC, as he is throughout the entirety of the show TADC itself. He is still closeted, and while I will most likely switch to she/her for the sequel (again, only if I ever get to that point after Part 6 is finished and if there's an interest for it), it's just easier and less confusing for readers to stick to one gender when describing a character in writing, as in addressing a character as either he, she or they (or any other pronouns). If you continuously switch, the reader will get confused. That's why I stick to They/them for Zooble, despite Goose stating that they're Genderfluid.

So tldr: Jax will continue to be he/him in TATC, and if my sequel ever gets written, his pronouns will switch to she/her, because he will no longer he closeted to the group at that point.

I do want to find a spot in the narrative where he has a discreet conversation with Pomni about his sexuality, but if it can't be placed anywhere, it'll be something that happens off screen.

Nope, no impacts!

If anything, it makes Jax trans fem/ genderfluid, but that's it lmao! This isn't a story where he explores that though, so if I do get to ever write the sequel, he'll have his long dark hair and eyelashes in that one.

I absolutely love your fic and artwork! They're amazing! Your fic inspired me to make my OWN ao3 fic! So, I made one, and now I got a question for you. I only got the first chapter up. How do you stay on top of putting up the new chapters in good time (Considering the fact that you're human and have a life outside of ao3)?

I actually don't post a fic until it's fully written for this very reason. Part 1 and Part 2 of TATC were not posted until I had them fully completed. Part 3 is stalling because of life, so I'm trying to find time to get back to writing it, but until it's fully completed, it won't be posted. That way, I can make a proper schedule :) That, my friend, is the solution. Otherwise, I would get bored and stop posting mid story, and readers would have my head XD

I love your TADC art and au! What are your feelings on transfem Jax? Its a bit divisive in the fandom so I apologize if you dont wanna answer. Was just curious!

It is a very divisive subject and I like to just let my art speak for itself (experience with fans since working at disney has been eye-opening, I tell you). However, I'll say it here until I begin posting more art about it, because it is an important subject.

I think it's a beautiful representation. I see nothing wrong with it. If artists enjoy it and it's not having some irrevocable change on your life, then leave those artists/people alone. And the same can be said with the other side: if someone doesn't see it the same way, don't shove it in their faces obnoxiously. Both ways will lead to both sides being. It's as bad as ship wars.

Unless a transfem purple rabbit avatar is somehow damaging your life beyond repair, go watch paint dry.

So idk if this is just me but I've noticed that as Pomni gets closer with the traveling cirsus the drawing you make become more colorful. Like the very first chapert there is only white and grayish blue and each chaper the drawing get more colorful as Pomni gets closer with them. Is this just a coinisidentce?

That's just a coincidence lol! I just got better at colouring with limited colour palettes

are you gonna change the AU after episode 9 comes out or keep it the way you wanted with a few references to the final episode?

Nope, not changing it! The only things that may affect the story will be Ribbit and Kaufmo's roles in Jax' past. I sort of have an idea already, but whatever happens can help me solidify it.

I already have a feeling what will happen in Episode 9, but since my AU takes place in an open world and not inside a digital land created by an AI, the outcomes and relationships are different.

Hopefully that won't deter anyone from reading though!

Magma drawing from yesterday.

So since a lot of people asked when I started part 1 how many chapters there were, I decided to count them this time for Part 2. Counting the ones already out, there will be 19 chapters. Debating on either lengthening chapters or else doubling postings, but I don't want to overwhelm readers.

That being said, Chapter 19 is a bigun. Slightly lengthwise, but mostly plot-wise, for our dear Jester Bard. I have hinted in the past that this Part involves parallels with Episode 6 of TADC, so make of that what you will ;)

I don't write stories or dynamics with angst in mind. It just happens, the situations create it. Arguments between two characters isn't angst, and everything these guys will be going through isn't what I would call angst, or at least not between them

Folks gotta remember that Funnybunny is incredibly platonic until the VERY end of the story. I'll have hints of them growing feelings for each other, but it's not the focus, nor is it what drives their friendship. Or the Angst ^^;
