Tip: Find Alternatives-Believe your child when he or she says that clothing is irritating. Use the opportunity to find a solution to the problem together. Wearing a tagless undershirt increases overall comfort; substituting cotton jersey leggings for tights makes wearing a skirt much more pleasant.

Tip: When sales shopping, get clothes for the coming months. If your child is 9 months old in January, buy clothes for 18–24 months in anticipation of the following winter. How To Best Prepare Your Items to Sell

1. Make sure the items are clean / freshly laundered and ready to go straight to the sales floor.

2. For clothes, lay them flat in a bin with outfit pieces together. Take out anything that has obvious condition to them (holes, stains, fading, etc) or that are more than 4 years old.

3. For toys, make sure they have working batteries and pieces are together.

4. For baby equipment and furniture items, give them a good wipe down (put in the washer if possible) and make sure you have all of the pieces! You will be asked to assemble the items so that we can verify it has all required pieces and they are in working, safe condition.
