What inspired Yaichi to want to be a hero? Btw He looks so cool XD

hmmm well in that sense he’s a little bit like uraraka and a little bit like tensei. basically when he was younger his family was in a pretty bad financial situation. eventually his dad got a new job and they’re better off now but the triplets were born soon after and even though they get by ok raising 4 kids ain’t cheap. and yaichi is the first in his family to have a quirk that powerful so he wants to be a pro so he can take the pressure off his family one day so in that way he’s like uraraka. but also he wants to be someone his sisters can look up to so in that way he’s like tensei. (plus he’s always admired pro heroes and thought it’d be cool to be like them but i think that’s probably at least a small part of anyone’s motivation for becoming a pro)

does yaichi collect bandaids with cool or cute decorations or does he just grab whatever he can find like ?? "those hello kitty bandaids are the first and cheapest thing yeah ok whatever" and lo and behold thats what he uses the next day?

oh this is actually a really good question!! so some important info to know is yaichi has 3 seven year old sisters who are identical triplets (their names are nao, kazue, and miiko). their parents work a lot so yaichi has to babysit them pretty regularly. also since his quirk is what it is he has to keep a box of bandaids in his school bag at all times, and he always lets the triplets pick them out. long story short he doesn’t really care what they look like but his sisters do and they’re 7 so most of the time he’s got brightly colored character themed bandaids all over his face. (i think if he had to choose the theme though he’d pick keroppi bandaids bc hes always liked keroppi)

im super late to the bnha oc party but i’m really happy with the kid i made. i put a lot of effort into making a kid who i could easily imagine as a canon character and i think i did ok
