i wonder how the transph- i mean. JKR defenders will say these are taken out of context... oh wait they wont, theyll just say "shes right though" because theyd rather side with a billionaire who's funding trans genocide than actually listen to queer people lol
I've posted about her aphobia before. But I didn't post about this one.
1) Asexuals don't "don't want sex". I write smut, and in smut writing communities, we're some of the freakiest people I've seen. That's not to say all asexuals write smut or all asexuals write freaky smut. Just that we're very diverse in our views of sex .
2) Asexuals don't "don't like sex". Many of us haven't tried sex. So to assume we don't like it would be... weird. Like assuming someone wouldn't like milk just because they've never drank milk before.
Asexuality has NOTHING to do with our views on the act of sex itself. Actually.
All it means is, when I'm outside experiencing the world, for my entire life. I usually forget sex is a thing that exists, in reference to other humans. Like the only reason why I know sex exists is 1) I have a libido and 2) I enjoy writing/ reading it. If it were based solely on my interactions with other people? I'd completely forget it exists. Because literally no one has made me think about it in reference to them.
Unless they randomly start talking about blowjobs or something.
Oh... and corrective rape is still a HUGE threat that we experience. Or medical gaslighting. Or guilt tripping. Or just made to feel like we're broken. You know, similar experiences as other parts of the LGBTQ+ community?
