my mom has been struggling with health complications for a while and was diagnosed for kidney disease.
she has to take numerous medications and go to numerous appointments, experiences cognitive impairment where she forgets simple words and names and has become increasingly fatigued. she's been receiving treatment and is on call for a kidney transplant, but my parents' lives have been significantly disrupted to get her everything she needs.
my sister has opened up a GFM to help ease some of their financial stress as mom and dad have to take more time off of work to make it to all her doctor's visits, get her set up for at-home dialysis, and be ready for recovery if she receives the transplant call.
