I LOVE MY NEW MECHANICAL KEYBOARD.

I just wrote two very long winded emails (one to my sister and one to my momma). I miss my teacher friends and want to keep in better touch with them. I never used to write many emails outside of work, but it was pretty nice! So, if they're up for it, I'm going to inundate them with emails.

I'm such a nerd lol but I love my keyboard and want to keep typing on it forever! It's like when I get new pens or new notebooks. I can't help myself.

Also, I feel like I've lost a few brain cells over the summer. Time to beef up my brain!

What qualities do you seek in a partner? Turn ons? Turn offs?

I like when I know his wheels are turning. He would be sharp, witty, with a sense of humor. Genuine. Kind. HONEST. Motivated. Hardworking. Willing to stand up for what he believes in. Takes care of himself and knows who he is. In addition to what i described above, physical turn ons - shoulders and hands. Manliness.Turn offs - not caring for himself (physically, mentally, emotionally). Liar. Lazy. Unmotivated, poor hygiene, and mean. Selfish. No interests or apathy.

Most recent embarrassing moment

Lol my life is a series of embarrassing awkward moments strung together. The last one that made me facepalm was when I was going to a meeting and my sandal caught on the stairs and I stumbled forward making a bunch of weird shrieks. I stood up and said "woah doggy! Death was near"I thought I was alone and it would have been no big deal. But the maintenance guy was standing there at the top of the stairs laughing and asked if I was okay. Still probably not a big deal but I was embarrassed haha

I don't know what to do.

I want to go back to school while I still have relatively few obligations to anyone other than myself and my job. I don't have a family. I don't have any relationships that tie me anywhere. This is the time to do it.

I have my BA, teaching credential, and MA in Ed. I wanted to go back for my MA in English Lit at a local university. I've never wanted to pursue an admin credential...Administration isn't for me. But I love the idea of maybe teaching at a J.C. after I've done my thing teaching high school.

I want to do it, but I worry that I can't afford it, or that I won't be able to handle the workload.

I should take advantage of my situation and use it to improve myself rather than stagnate waiting for things to happen for me.

I don't know how I'll fit it all in... journaling, at least 5 sporadic naps, marathon of law and order SVU, snacking, letter writing...

But, hey, at least I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone. *shrug* If I think about it too much I feel like an idiot. So I'm not going to think about it. I'm gonna laugh it off and hope that the next time I go out on a limb it will end more favorably for me lol.
