ID. a simple digital comic mostly in black and white of morpheus and neo from the matrix. morpheus: come 2 the matrix. neo: hm… ok. they are standing on a packed dance floor. neo: this isn’t the matrix. morpheus: yes it is. neo: no it’s not. it’s a night club. morpheus: the matrix can be anywhere. an office bathroom. your bedroom. morpheus extends his hands, a pill in each hand. morpheus: will you take the red pill? or the blue pill? neo, thoughtfully: hmm can i take both? morpheus: ok but i’m not watching you throw up. a panel of them partying, drawn in red and blue. neo throws up in the toilet while morpheus stands outside the stall. neo: i thought you weren’t going to stick around. morpheus: i was just trying to sound cool. neo: didn’t you say the matrix was in my bedroom? let’s go there. in a panel labeled “later,” neo lays in bed while morpheus picks up books from his dresser. neo: lay down with me? morpheus: i don’t want to make you uncomfortable… neo: i’m asking. they lay side by side, then hold hands.
