I was genuinely worried for the puma so I went and looked up an article. Apparently pumas regularly swim across this lake, even though it’s huge. Like tigers, they’re good swimmers, even though they’re big cats, and so the puma is in no danger. Park experts thought it was probably just resting because it found a convenient place to rest.

Okay, Gen Z, younger millennials, please tell me, are you aware of what the title Ms. means? And how to pronounce it?

Because I just listened to several young 20-somethings pronounce it Miss and talk about how it means you're not married. And...I'm feeling weird about it, considering that's the title I use.

(It means my marital status is none of your business. I use it because I'm married but I kept my maiden name so I'm not Mrs. anyone.)

It’s okay, I gotchu. Miss is pronounced MISS. Ms is pronounced MIZ. Mrs is pronounced MISUS. If I remember right, the Ms came into use in the 1900s with the suffragette movement? I think?
