"I wanted to take a quick break from my usual content and go back to Evil Nun for a bit. Sister Madeline has always been my favorite character, so I really wanted to draw her as an ordinary person—not a monster, not a nun, just a young woman who wanted to live. I took some inspiration from pin-up art for these pieces.

For many years, I've been dreaming of creating my own comic or indie series. My problem is that I find it really hard to come up with a plot that isn't based on something else. My only truly original character is Ellie — if I don't tie her to any specific game or show. The only project of mine that actually has a finished story (and yes, I still struggle with finishing stories) is a parody of FNAF.

Because of that, I feel unoriginal, and it hits my self-esteem pretty hard. I really want to finally create a story that isn't built on an existing framework — and I don't mean you can't take inspiration from things, I just mean not copying the whole foundation. I want to draw it, pour my soul into it, and show it to the world.

I don't want to devalue AU creators — I love AUs — it's just that, for me personally, I want to make something completely... mine.

Lately I like to think that Ellie is a creature from the Backrooms. That would explain a lot. Now I can definitely say that Ellie is something that shouldn't exist in our reality. Her skin, her hair, her eyes, her style of clothing — they are collective images that she has gathered together into herself. She appeared from nowhere, and sooner or later she will disappear into nowhere. The only thing that is known is what she needs from you... Your love for her.
