an analysis on Sangwoo’s eyebrows

I edited some panels to see how Sangwoo would look like if Koogi didn’t draw his eyebrows through his hair. Bc let’s face it, his eyebrows would usually not be visible. See how innocent Sangwoo looks if his eyebrows are hidden? Conclusion: Koogi draws his eyebrows through his hair so US, the readers can see his true nature. But realistically the characters in the comic would see his innocent face!

BUT!!

All of his victims were able to see his eyebrows because he had his hair parted/slicked back, MEANING, they could see Sangwoo’s true nature!! I think Koogi drew him with a different hairstyle on purpose while he was with a victim. Sangwoo’s eyebrows are a metaphor for his true nature.

I’m still not sure if Sangwoo needs glasses to see or not. Maybe his eyesight is not so bad that he has to wear them all the time, but a tiny bit, yes.

The glasses thing is pure aesthetics I think. I can’t remember whether it was Koogi’s tweet or in the previous Q&A but she said that because fans really like Sangwoo wearing glasses that she drew him wearing them more.

I feel like Sangwoo doesn’t understand why Bum likes him. For example in this scene he is comparing himself to the police as in “you should be scared of me too.”

Furthermore, when Bum starts saying the he likes Sangwoo, it makes him nervous and confused. It’s similar to the scene when he tries to hang Bum but saves him when he starts calling out his name.

It’s almost like he doesn’t want to believe Bum loves him cause it is too “good to be true” since he considers himself a monster (like his father) so no one will love him. This could be the reason he compared Bum to his mother, who is the only person that has truly loved him (from what I have seen, however, we could later find out she was a monster too).
