This whole chapter was like those posts you see in the fandom often where people wish for something cute but never actually expect it to happen. Like “Man I’d love it if Sangwoo took Bum to a theme park and everything was chill and Bum had a good time, haha only in my dreams” 

…except it actually HAPPENED.

Since a lot of people have pointed out that Bum might not be wearing his neck bandages, I am here to burst your bubble.

The lineart for the bandages on his cheek are still drawn, so it’s likely just a colouring error.

Plus this panel is probably from the first chapter of S3, so chronologically his leg should have to heal before his neck does. Though, different types of wounds heal at different rates; and Bum might be only wearing the bandages to help give his ankles more support or Sangwoo doesn’t get that the bandages aren’t going to fix Bum’s legs to the way they were before.

Lastly, just a personal theory, when the wounds heal have significance. Bum’s collar wound was shown to be healed the night he killed Jieun. This could represent how Bum is being broken and moulded into someone more ‘fitting’ of Sangwoo (ex: someone who can kill like him). So I think there has to be some type of important event to occur for the bandages on the legs, neck or wrist to come off. Possibly, since Bum had rejected the safest opportunity to escape Sangwoo last season can mean the end of his leg bandages, as it’s no longer his broken legs that are keeping him from leaving Sangwoo.
