ran into someone from highschool. particularly the "group" that i was in. asked what i was doing so late. said uni. asked what i do. she said shes proud of me. i dont know how to feel about the whole ordeal. when my dads friends who i dont know say theyre proud it makes sense but when its someone the same age as me from highschool when my highschool was a terrible experiencing of constantly being ostracized and being treated as other its like. i dont know. are you saying this in an infantilizing sense or do you mean it.

The war has taken almost everything from me. I lost my home, my job, and my father, who passed away after being unable to receive the treatment he needed. My family and I have been displaced more than 17 times, searching for safety but finding very little relief.
