Unfamiliar faces were most likely going to become a common occurance around here, so Dahlia was already beginning to adjust herself to the situation in the best way she knew how: analyzing every person she came across, with a sweet smile stretched across her face. The women in front of her was, of course, no exception, Dahlia already taking in everything from her that she could from visage alone, and after a few seconds decided that opening her mouth would be the appropriate next move.
After all, she already had an idea of what would get her on this girl’s good side.
“Good afternoon, miss….”
“I hope you don’t mind me saying this out of the blue, but your dress…it’s so lovely, and suits you very well.”
People are a lot like cats, in some respect. Sometimes you'll find one with fur as smooth as silk and shiny bright eyes just inviting you to pet them. They'll rub against your leg oh-so sweetly, captivating your heart with every brush of cheek fuzz against your ankle. Finally you bite, reaching down to pet the adorable creature and it'll roll on its belly in anticipation. Moments later you will find your wrist to be bleeding, bitemarks and scratches painted across your skin and you can't even fathom what happened.
These are the types of kitties to generally avoid, though its hard. They often stick to themselves in terms of survival, only reaching out to others in their saccharine masks when they need something.
But what happens if two of these types of kittens meet each other?...
"Oh... Thank you."
Alita's own lips mirror the other young girl's, curved in a sweet smile set to melt the hearts of any who'd look, if they were dumb enough. Entwined fingers rise to sit just below her chin as dark eyes wander over the stranger, taking in her frail appearance and striking red hair.
"Coming from someone with such regal style as your's..."
"That's quite a compliment."
