the minutes went by slower each time you looked at the clock, the hand didn’t seem to budge. the teacher was talking about the current topic, but the sounds of a pen clicking overloaded your senses. you didn’t even need to face the culprit, you knew exactly which one of your classmates sat there, it agitated you even further. you slowly turned around, causing nishinoya to look up from his pen to smile at you.

“can you like, stop?” you whispered, pointing to the object in his hand.

he clicked it one more time, in an attempt to make you smile at least a little, but your face remained stoic.

“you are so cold,” he mumbled, fixing his arms behind his neck as he leaned back .

“and you are annoying,” you retaliated, but his only reaction was a small chuckle. “unbelievable,” you muttered quietly, turning back towards the teacher, who watched you with raised eyebrows, but soon resumed her speech.
