Kim W. Andersson

Swedish comic book artist Kim W. Andersson is the the creator of the romantic horror comic LOVE HURTS. After being published for several years in Scandinavia and featured in DARK HORSE PRESENTS it's finally getting collected in the US by DARK HORSE COMICS, as THE COMPLETE LOVE HURTS. Coming out fall 2015! ALENA is a romantic horror comic, but a graphic novel and a whole lot darker. ALENA is at the moment being made into a motion picture! Coming out fall 2015! At the moment Kim W. is creating a new comic, a space adventure about a young woman called ASTRID. Coming out spring 2016! Follow the creation of that book on this blog. Just finished the last page of 250 I’ve done the last year, of #zombielars 🧟‍♂️ I’ve had a lot of fun and taken my comics making to the next level. Drawing it in a simpler style then my a-game has been the biggest challenge but also the most educational. I can’t wait to take these new powers into making my own comics. I made these two books last year. And today I’m starting on book 3 and 4. They’re comic book adaptations of the Norwegian TV-show. I’m having a blast with them, but it’s hard work. 120 pages in 6 months. Including some time off this summer, for once! Did some nice inks on a illustration for a kids book. Have a look at the last pic in the sequence to see the super loose pencils I inked on.
