//While I wish for Al to move in with Roy and Edward when Roy adopts Al, I feel like Roy would like to move into a bigger apartment for all three of them because he wants Al to have his own room and space especially since hes still attending High School and while I know Al or Ed don't mind sharing a room, I feel like them moving into a bigger place would be more efficient. As for now though Al lives with his Foster Mom currently. When the plot to Alphonse's verse continues I'll get to that point in writing more about it on Roy's blog too.

"....I think I'm gonna die of embarrassment, Al..." Ed groaned, arms crossed tightly over his chest as he spoke. "I uh...Well, y'know, my crush...Um....I-I took a dare an' kissed him..."
"Oh?" He smirks softly at that. "Well, what did he say?" Now he wanted to know allll the details of his brothers love life.

Ed's just gonna casually run and hide behind his younger brother due to the fact that he's currently dying of embarrassment. And yes, his face is completely red...
Turning when his brother hid behind him, Alphonse blinks softly. Noticing the other hide behind him with a look of embarrassment. "You alright, brother?"

"What did I miss?"
Ed chuckled softly at that and nodded a little. "New friends and...Maybe a potential crush..." He admitted, shifting a little as he listened to his brother talk about how he'd never thought Ed would ever open up to Roy like he had.
"Well...What can I say? Mustang's stuck by my side, I think he's more than earned that title."
"I should be saying that about you. I thought you died, I am so glad you're standing here alive and well. When that seal on your armor broke, I thought I lost you for good, you really gave me a scare."
Ed moved slightly closer to give Al a playful bump with his shoulder, eyes and expression soft just like he'd been whenever it was just the two of them.
"I missed you, Al. 'M glad you're here. I wasn't lying when I said you look good, either."
"Crush?? Oooh, you'll have to tell me all about them, brother! What are they like?!" He was happy for his brother, he wanted him to be happy and that's what was most important to him.
"I missed you too, and I'm glad you think so! I am pretty happy with how much I've been working out too. I had just skin and bones when I ended up here and they fed me really good until my body was back to normal again." He said softly as he wrapped an arm around him.
"I just got out of school today and was going to head home, but I'll text my foster mom and let her know I am going to be spending some time with friends. I'll have to tell her about you eventually though and explain to her I found you. She knows about you, but I feel like telling her in person would be best." He said grabbing his phone and going ahead and texting her. When he was done with that, he looked back at him and smiled.
"Want to hang out together for a bit? We could go out to eat or something and catch up and you can tell me all about your new crush." He grinned.
"Sounds like you've been making a nice life for yourself here. I'm proud of you, little brother. I'd love to meet your foster mom, so i can thank her for taking such good care of you."
Ed couldn't wait to actually sit down with Al and hear about everything he'd been through, just listening to him talk lit a fire of joy within him that he never thought he'd feel again. He couldn't help but wonder how Al had ended up on this side of the portal, but at that moment he couldn't care less.
"Oh, me? I live with Dad. Oh, sorry....Roy's here too..And Feury, Hughes, even Black Hayate! I started callin' Mustang dad a while back and I guess you could say it stuck, he's even started callin' me his son. I bet he'd probably call you the same too. I've made quite a few new friends here; I can't wait for you to be able to meet them all! There's Yugi and Atem...Yami, too. And you'll have to introduce me to any new friends you've made, too."
He couldn't help the happy little chirp within his voice, arms crossed proudly over his chest as he stepped back and just...Took in the sight of the handsome young man his brother had become.
Hearing that most of the gang was here. Well, a lot of the gang, not all of them it makes him feel better, but at the same time he does feel bad because they were supposed to all be in their world for this, not a whole new one. It seemed the portal was being used a lot somehow, and Al knew that it was going to be hard to go back.
"Oh, I see. Sounds like you've been busy making all sorts of new friends, huh?" He chuckles softly, "Well, it's nice to know some people are here with us so it's not just us alone together. Not that it would be an issue considering the new friends you and I have made here. I made a few friends too. They go to my school." He says smiling,
"Yeah, I can have you meet her someday. She's really kind, she reminds me of Mom." The nice lady was very understanding and wanted to make sure Al was safe and that's what made him at ease around here to begin with.
"You called the Colonel Dad? I didn't think you'd actually be able to call him anything like that. Guess you changed your mind, huh?" He teased a bit, knowing back then Edward didn't like Mustang at first until they got older and he started respect him more.
"Glad to see that you're safe and sound though, Brother. Its crazy how a few months can change in the blink of a eye." He really was glad to be in his original body again, even if they weren't in their world anymore.
For the first time in over a year, Ed felt a spark that was stronger than anything he'd ever felt before. Relief, joy, so many emotions at once, but it didn't take long before those tears he'd shed gave way to a wide, boyish smile that he hadn't given in what felt like forever. Pulling back to get a good look at his brother, he couldn't resist reaching up to gently tousle that soft hair.
"God, look at you! You've really grown, Al!" He exclaimed, quickly wiping his eyes though that smile was not going away anytime soon.
"You're even taller than me now. Not that you weren't when you were in that armor, but hell! You've probably got the girls fawnin' all over you, ya tall handsome bastard~." He teased gently, a warm chuckle leaving his chest as he spoke.
For the first time since arriving to this new world, somehow...he felt alive again. As though he could finally breathe.
"Aw shucks brother!" He could feel himself blush at the compliment. He had gotten much taller when he was in the gate too, but now that he was back fully in the flesh, he was able to get better and fed well thanks to the foster lady that had taken care of him while he was here in this world.
"I've been attending school here. I have a foster Mom that has taken good care of me." He explained softly, "She had found me on the side of the road and took me to the hospital to get better and it took a month or so to get better, but I've been staying here for a few months with her. She's really nice and has made sure I was taken care of." He tells him.
"Where have you been staying?" He was wondering just what his younger brother had been doing while in this world too. Alphonse was definitely happy to see his brother again.

Edward was frozen for several moments, his brain trying to process what he saw as Al asked whether he was real or not. Before he could stop it, he could already feel the warm, wet trails that fell down his cheeks, wide golden eyes taking in the sight of the man before him.
Whether this was some cruel joke, or a dream, or even just the visions of a broken man, he found he no longer seemed to care. Al was there, right in front of him...And he was whole again. The face he remembered from his childhood, before everything had gone to hell...It was different, more mature yet somehow still exactly the same.
'If this is a dream...God please just let me stay here a while...'
Without even a second thought, Ed lunged forward, throwing his arms around Alphonse and hugging him tight, his head being buried into his younger brother's shoulder as a broken sob tore its way out of his chest.
"Al...! It's really you...You're really here! You're...You're really here!"
If this truly was a dream, he could only beg and pray that it wouldn't come to an end and leave him all alone, yet again.
Just like that Alphonse could feel the tears stream down his own face when he saw his brother cry. He didn't hold it back at all, not in the slightest.
This was his big brother! He was alive and okay! That meant the world to Alphonse and even if this was a dream, he would be okay, just knowing he still had his brother in his heart was all that mattered to him.
When the other lunged at him, Al made sure to catch him and not try to trip from the sudden hug that was being given to him. He wasn't waking up from the dream if it was a dream, usually you couldn't actually feel what was happening, or if someone pinched you, you would wake up and he could realize that this wasn't a dream nor his imagination.
"Ed! I'm really here! I'm here!" He yells out back a happy sob escaping him. He was just so happy that he found his older brother. That he wasn't alone anymore not in this world.
"I didn't think I'd ever see you again!" He repeated himself, but he didn't care. He was just so happy, "I thought I'd be alone in this world forever without you. I was trying to accept that, but I kept thinking about you a lot. Hoping that you were safe and well. I'm glad to see that you're here.. Even if it's not our world." He says softly rubbing his big brothers back.
