âAlrighty! Try not to get blown away by my amazing dance moves, Copper.â Ben teased, laughing a little. Then, he began to sway his hips with the music, and for a couple of seconds, it looked as if Ben was able to dance. But, just as quickly as he had rhythm, he had lost it and began doing the robot, awkwardly moonwalking backward into the crowd. âCâmon, Copper! I see the shots! Soooo..â he moved to the side, âcloooose!â He did a final spin as he managed to get through the people. He waited for Copper for about two seconds, before he ordered them a round of the rainbow shots and turned to wave to Copper. âWhoohoo! You look awesome out there, Copper!â
âIâll try! I bet...I bet you have some nice moves!â He said with a smile eyes growing wide as it seemed for a moment that Ben actually did have moves, stifling a laugh when the dancing seemed to get away from Ben. Soon Copper began to follow Benâs lead allowing the rhythm of the music to take over. He managed to effortlessly make his way through the crowd, evading random party goers as he went. Finally he reached the other side and stood next to Ben. âOh uh, you... you really think so?â Copper asked looking at the ground shyly. âThanks.â He said looking back up at Ben with a smile. âNow I.. I donât know about you but I could...I could sure use that drink.â
shockxzdâ:
Shockâs lips twitched. She really needed to check what was going on in the cosmos that sheâd somehow managed to trip over two guys who seriously needed ⊠protection? guidance? Whatever the hell it might be, neither of them belonged in the Wastelands by themselves.  âSo ⊠Todâs one of my sort, huh? You know people get a little weirded by you normal folk having zombie friends, right?â Wrinkling her nose, she sighed and did something she rarely managed - tried to offer a little comfort.  âAnd he might - our memories are odd. Bad, yeah, but they pull out the oddest shit at the strangest times.â
âMhmm, he isâ Copper nodded enthusiastically. âThey might, but Todâs been my very best friend for about as long as I can remember, my family never really liked our friendship before so whatâs a few more peopleâs disapproval?â He said with a shrug. âHeâs always been there for me, Iâm not just going to abandon him in his time of need.â Copper listened as she spoke about zombies and their memories, growing more excited as she spoke. âYeah? That...That actually makes me feel a lot better thank you. Maybe one day heâll be able to remember who I am!â

Ben smiled brightly at the compliment, looking down at the ground, âWell, jee, thank you, Copper. Youâre really sweet.â He looked up at him, softly smiling. Quickly his mind was brought back to the shots, âOh! The shots are delicious! I donât think they ID here, though, because I was able to get around here, and no one questioned me. Would you like to try them? Come on!â He took Copperâs hand in his own, but before he could get through the crowd, he was bumped back and ended up crashing into Copper. âOops! Sorry about that. I guess we gotta dance our way through.â He laughed, turning to face the other male, âAre you okay with that?â
âOh uh thanks!â Copper said shyly running a hand through his hair. âYa know youâre...youâre really nice too! Much nicer than a lot of people, thatâs for sure. Absolutely! Oh... okay.â Copper said with a laugh as Ben grabbed his hand and dragged him through the crowd. âOof!â Copper said when Ben bumped into him. âHey, no worries.â He said shaking his head âItâs not like you did it on purpose, right? Sure! That works for me!â Copper said with a smile. âI think itâll be kinda fun to be honest. Donât you?â
missmorphyâ:
âAccidents happen,â Morph said, laughing. âIf it helps though, I do forgive you.â After gathering up the mess, she tossed it in a trash bin that was thankfully close. Her eyes widened when he mentioned there possibly being a treat she missed. âOooh, I like the way you think!â She gave Copper a bright smile. âEven if I was mad, which I promise Iâm not, I still let you come along. Iâm Morph, not the gatekeeper of yummy snacks.â She held her hand out towards him. âShall we?â
âReally!?â Copper said excitedly âYou donât hate me?â He asked his eyes growing wide as he helped her toss the mess into the trash. âItâll be awesome! I canât wait! We are going to eat all the yummy snacks! Iâm Copper! Itâs uh... Itâs nice to meet you Morph!â He said shaking her hand with a warm smile. âYes please! Snack time!â Copper said practically bouncing with excitement. In his excitement he started to lead the way before he stopped and turned to Morph âI uh, I donât know which way the snack table actually is so Iâll let you lead the way Morph. And you can even have first pick of all of the goodies since I kinda made a huge mess of yours already.â
missmorphyâ:
Morph was making her way through the crowd when she spotted the table of snacks. Filled with excitement, Morph wiggled her way over to the treats. She piled a small plate with all the snacks it could hold, before turning to look for somewhere more secluded. Morph was headed towards an empty corner when someone bumped into her, causing the snack to fall. âItâs okay,â she said, straightening herself. âIâm fine, but I donât think they will be.â Morph pointed to her treats on the floor. âTime for round two,â she said, bending down to clean up the mess. âOr is it still round one since I didnât actually get to try anything?â
Copper was mortified when he saw all her delicious treats all over the floor âOh my gosh, I really am... I really am so sorry. Please forgive me. Oh no. Please. Let me!â He said frantically helping clean up the mess he had made. âI suppose we could count it as round one still. Who knows maybe youâll find something super yummy that you missed the first time around.â He said optimistically. âDo you uhâ He looked down at his feet shyly âIf youâre not too mad, would you mind terribly if I accompanied you to the snacks?â he looked back at Morph. âThey all looked so yummy.â
xtinkerxbellxâ:
âWell, the first thing you want to do, sugar, is get in the canoe.â She teased, smiling. She couldnât help herself. âThen, once youâve done that, you take this rod and just push it into the water, bring it up, push it back in, and repeat it until you get somewhere. Or you spin in a giant circle. Letâs see what happens first.â She laughed, patting the seat in front of her for him.
Once Copper had settled in, Tink pushed them away from the shore. It was a beautiful day, the kind that almost made you forget your worries. When they were more towards the middle of the lake, she brought her rod back into the canoe. âYou can bring the rod back in. Letâs just let the lake guide us.â She said, leaning back and getting comfortable. âSo, what brings you out today. handsome?â
âThat...that makes senseâ Copper said with an embarrassed laugh before listening to Tink as she explained how it all worked eyes wide and nodding along. âThat doesnât sound too hard.â Copper said. âChief would never let me go out on the water when he and Amos would go out. He always said it was too complicated and I would just mess everything up.â He climbed into the canoe and sat where she had indicated.
Copper followed Tinkâs lead as they slowly rowed towards the middle of the lake. This was nice, very peaceful. Heâd have to remember to tell Chief he knew how to row a canoe once he returned home. âOh okay.â Copper said pulling the oar back into the canoe. He looked around them taking in the scenery. âThis is nice.â He said softly before hearing Tinkâs question. âOh uhâ He looked down shyly. âMy nameâs uh Copper, I uh donât think I introduced myself yet, sorry.â He said with a smile âI guess I was just looking to get out of the house really. Hoping I might be able to find some things that Hera might find useful and then well, I bumped into you. What about you?â Copper asked âWhat uh, what brought you out here?â
shockxzdâ:
âLucky for you, sweetie, I already ate today.â She looked him up and down.  âYou donât look like a Hunter, so figure maybe weâll avoid the fight. And Tod?â She tilted her head, trying to remember.  âNot ringing a bell.â
Copper let out a sigh of relief. âOh thank goodness. Me a Hunter?â He said his eyes growing wide and shaking his head âOh no definitely not, as much as Chief and Amos would love it if I was, I much prefer helping everyone rather than being a big olâ meanie like them.â He frowned âIf you ever...if you ever do come across Tod, will you let him know his pal Copper is out looking for him? Not that heâll even remember who I am.â Copper said sadly
huntressofheartsâ:
It all made sense. Lucy relaxes on her grip with her crossbows as she took a deep breath in, chuckling at Copper. âMakes sense, youâre the youngest of the Slade boysâ she said now with a small smile. Lucy only associates herself with her hunters. Copper was family so that meant she had to tolerate him.. for now. â I wonât tell them because then I wonât hear the end of it from them..â she mused with a small smile forming on her lips. âIâm Lucy Harts. Most people call me other things but Lucy is fineâ she said with a smile. â Hopefully you found something worth the trip you took getting yourself this far lostâ she said now with a small little grin. She was curious to see what the young man might have found. Treasure hunts weâre always her favorite. Maybe there was something that lead her to what she needed.
âYep! Thatâs meâ Copper said with a smile âThank you, you... you clearly know them so you know how grumpy they can be.â Copper pulled a face and shook his head. âWell itâs nice to meet you Lucy!â He said with a smile before it turned into a frown âNo, I... I didnât find anythingâ He said shaking his head. I know weâve been running low on oil and medicine so I was hoping if I went farther out I could find something but I couldnât find anythingâ Copper said looking down at the ground sadly.

âYOUR BEST FRIEND IS A ZOMBIE TOO?! WHAT?!â He yelled with excitement. Ben was not known for being able to keep things on the hush hush, especially since he was so open about Jim being his best friend, so he had no idea when to tell that someone did not want the world to know about them being friends with a zombie. âThatâs AMAZING! Wait. Is it Jim?â He frowned a little, slightly sad at the thought that Jim could replace him so quickly, but it lasted for a couple seconds before he was back to his normal self.  âHuh? Oh! I bit myself because I wanted to make sure I didnât like the way I tasted it. I mean, how else am I supposed to know? What if I was secretly turning or something? Then what? Then I wouldnât know, but if I bit myself, and something weird happened..I guess I would know then. Duh!â He said, as if any of that made sense, before moving on to the next topic. âCopper is the bestest name. Iâm Ben! Nice to meet you, Copper! Weâll always be friends. Forever!â He grinned, reaching out to take Copperâs hand and pulling him into a hug.
âOkay!â He let the other male go, stepping back, âReady to take leave? I know the way!â
Copper jumped, startled when Ben started yelling âShh! Shh!â Copper said frantically âSomeone could hear you.â He said looking around to make sure no one had heard Benâs outburst. âIf the hunterâs find out weâre friends with zombies weâll end up in big trouble. We...we definitely donât want that. No itâs not Jimâ Copper said shaking his head with a chuckle âMy friendâs name is Tod, heâs great!â Copper scrunched up his eyebrows as Ben carried on about biting himself before shrugging âI guess that makes sense.â A smile crossed his face âWell, thank you Ben, itâs... itâs nice to meet you too! Forever Ben.â He said with a nod and a smile hugging Ben back.
âAbsolutely! Lead the way Ben.â Copper said with a smile.

Ben wandered around Skull Rock Live, admiring all the colorful decorations and enjoying the music that was blaring through the speaks. The place was vibrant, both in color and personalities. It was the type of event Ben thrived in because there was so much going on that for once, his sporadic brain was relaxed, and it allowed it him to be a little more down to earth than usual. He had been happily dancing his day away when suddenly he was interrupted by a gentle bump. âNo harm was done, friend!â Ben brightly replied, turning around to face the stranger. He was delighted when he saw it was Copper. âHey, Copper! Fancy running into you here! Are you okay? Have you tried the rainbow shots yet? You look nice!â He beamed.
Copper let out a breath of relief when he saw it was Ben. âBen!â He said warmly, as much as he was still trying to figure out how he felt about everything it was nice to see a friendly face. âIâm doing...â He looked around taking it all in again, a big smile crossing his face âIâm doing great! How are you doing Ben? I have not, they sound delicious though. Have you tried them yet? Thank you!â He said blushing slightly before looking Ben up and down. âYouâre looking pretty great yourself Ben.â
Copper had never actually been to a pride event before. He had always wanted to but he was always too worried about what Chief and Amos would have to say. Now though he figured they were probably too busy with everything else going on in the world to pay too much attention to him so this was finally his chance. He snuck out into the wastelands and into Skull Rock Live. He was immediately taken in by all the sights and sounds. So many amazing things he wasnât quite sure where to look. He was so distracted taking everything in that he wasnât paying attention to where he was going until he bumped into someone. âOh my gosh! I am... I am sooo sorryâ He said embarrassed. âAre you alright?â
Copperâs Pride Outfit Day 1
Tink was down by the river, working on getting a canoe fixed so she could take a little canoe tour. Her gun was placed by her side, but the bullets remained tucked away in between her socks and shoes, as she kneeled beside the canoe working on a small hole on the side of it. She had been working on this particular canoe for about a week now. Every time she would come on her runs, she would make sure to stop and work on it a bit just before heading back into the city. Today, however, she had decided to take her entire day off and focus on finishing up her little project, because today she was determined to take it out for a row.Â
About twenty minutes later, she had finally finished her work. There was only time for a couple of seconds of satisfaction, before she heard the footsteps of someone behind her, without turning around she said, âHey if youâre not busy, want to help me guide this canoe?â She asked, still not turning around until she was in the boat and sitting.Â
Copper was wandering around heading no place in particular. He liked being out by the river, it helped him clear his mind, to leave behind the rest of the world for a while. Every once in a while he would pick up something he thought might be useful to someone in the future and put it in his bag that he carried. He was staring up at the sky walking along when he tripped on the root of a tree.
He hopped back up and dusted himself off before looking around and making sure no one else saw. Then he spotted a figure at the edge of the river and decided to make his way over. He was a bit startled when she spoke out without turning around but he told himself it would be alright. âI donât... I donât have any other plans so I might as well helpâ he said. âIâll admit Iâve never...never guided a canoe before but Iâm happy to help however I can. Whadda ya need me to do?â

âWell, THATâS  a relief!â Ben replied with a sigh of relief, smiling even more now. âI mean, my best friend is a zombie, so I donât have a problem with them at all! Buuuut, I am kind of tired of running from them lately. I just donât know WHAT THE HECK they find so delicious about me! I tried eating myself once, bit right into my arm, but it tasted gross! So, I said, âIâll make sure to warn all zombies about how gross I taste, so their taste buds donât get assaulted by my gross flavor.â BUT, I guess they donât care!â He threw his hands in the air and shook his head in disbelief, âYou would think they would! I mean, I wouldnât want to eat some gross tasting human if I were a zombie!â He lightly laughed, lowering his hands and shaking his head. âWell jee, friend, I like you too! Whatâs your name?âÂ
âMy best friend...My best friendâs a zombie too!â Copper said excitedly before frowning slightly âI donât think... I donât think Iâve ever actually said that out loud before.â He said with a shrug before laughing lightly at Benâs words âWell thatâs just plain rude. You tried to warn them and they didnât listen. But uh,â He furrowed his brow âWhy did you bite yourself in the first place? Didnât it hurt?â he asked concerned before perking up again when Ben said he wanted to be friends. He was just so excited to be making friends already âOh you do? Thatâs... Thatâs awesome! Iâm Copper! Whatâs your name?â
waitwhatwasidoing-benâ:
Once more, Ben found himself wandering around the Wastelands. It had become a sort of bad habit of his. He spotted someone who seemed to be lost, and he eagerly made his over to them before coming to a slow stop, âHey there, friend! Iâm always lost.â He laughed, smiling brightly. âI wouldnât mind helping you make your way to the city, but first, you need to answer a very, super, SUPER, important question. Are you a zombie? Donât offense, but we canât be too careful these days, and Iâve trusted a lot of people I thought were humans, but then they end up being zombies trying to eat me. I donât feel like running right now because Iâm a bit tired, ya know, so it would be nice to know if you were a zombie before we started and also, the city doesnât take too kindly to zombies. I wouldnât like them to pew pew your head off; you seem cool!â He took a breath, exhaling slowly, smiling still.
âHello!â Copper greeted the other male warmly. âMe a zombie?â Copper asked shocked before he listened to Ben carry on. âOh no.. Iâm not... Iâm not a zombie, not that there are anything wrong with zombies, but I... I wonât try to eat you. I promise. I like you, youâre very energetic.â Copper said with a smile
