But also I have a friend who liked Labubu’s before they were cool, they’ve had one for ten years. Seriously they’ve been around since 2015…. But they’re moving away and this is my gift because St. Elmo’s Fire, the actual phenomenon, was seen as a good omen to some sailors. It’s a little fire like spark that shows up on straight pole like objects in certain weather conditions. Masts of ships, branches, animal horns. It’s pretty cool! But I hope they’re able to move safely and all that mushy stuff.

All colored now, originally just wanted it to be white and red but added some warm and cool gray tones because it felt too empty (+some yellow). Thinking of writing out the opening scrawl on the borders and the ability kanji in the inner ring. What do y’all think?

This piece is a bit different from usual as its a commission from my grandfather! This is the only existing phot graph of the one room school he went to in the 1940s and he wanted me to draw a colored version of the photograph. I had to infer a few things but over all I think I did pretty good!

I’ve been playing with paint recently I’ve never taken any classes or anything just having fun I think this turned out ok!
