I will care for you because we are one. I will treat you with kindness and compassion. I will respect your body, your space, and your time. You have a spirit that mirrors all of humanity, as do I. We can exist in this time together.

I will not apologize for how I was born, what culture I was raised with, nor how I do not fit into stereotypes. I don't feel guilty, and I don't feel entitled. I will not hate you for your opinion, but I won't blindly agree out of fear.

Every single one of the lives on the planet right now are here for a reason. Do not turn your senses into weapons for hate, keep using your heart.

Context:

I'm 26/single/working a job/but looking for a career/kinda overwhelmed/practicing self work n sum yoga/divorced/probable starseed/adult soul

Some things learned along the way, as a hardworking emotional person, I felt deserved sharing.

1. I think all of humanity needs some form of community. Digital/virtual or in-person ties can help us feel connected and cared for. Having a safe space with someone to share your thoughts, both good n bad without judgement can do wonders for a human psyche.

2. Patience and compassion are the keys to self/inner work. If you want to make lasting change in how you heal, it takes a lot of not being mean to yourself. Self compassion is being kind to the person going through a hard time and feeling a lot of emotions-- you.

3. We're all here to connect. We all awaken things in one another that help us in our growth. Whether you see it right away or not, there's a lesson to be learned in it. (no I'm not trying to be an insensitive b-hole to someone actively going through a tough moment right now) it's true that your deepest wounds can become your greatest strengths.

Idk folks. We're all just trying our best. Just be kind when you can, and be grateful for something every day. And like. Be nice to yourself. You deserve hugs and love. We're all part of the stars together.
