YO, that’s ALEC MERCER! Everybody knows him around the streets of CHICAGO, IL. He’s 22 years old and works as a jeweler. Many people say he resembles ROBB BANK$, but he doesn’t see it.

Growing up Alec was into something. His parents knew at a young age that they would being going through a lot with him. His parents tried and tried to give him a sibling to grow up with but after him, his mother couldn’t have any more children because of all of the drugs she took. Most people say that the fact that Alec came out all right was a miracle, but throughout his childhood; the mental trauma he endured in his house scarred him and ruined him. Witnessing his mother due heroin and watching her disappear right in front of him made him realize that at a young age, he was going to have to defend himself on his own. His father was barely around, he was always in the streets chasing other women and doing god knows what else. Alec was always dropped off at his uncle’s house where he grew up with his cousin Dominic. The two were like brothers, Dominic always had his back and wasn’t going to let anything happen to him on his watch. Throughout high school, Alec was barely in school and when he was he was always in school detention. Acting out in class was an understatement, he made sure the spotlight was on him 24/7 since he didn’t get the proper attention at home. Every time his father was called, he didn’t care; he told them that that was their problem. Soon, Alec was on his way to the juvenile detention center, giving a clear message about what path he was going down.
The street life was something he was always fond of. He thought that it was cool, and since he didn’t have a father figure, most of the men that were in the streets dealing were people that he looked up to. They taught him the game but didn’t trust him enough to let him in. It wasn’t until he proved himself to them and brought in more clients to them when they let him work for them. His work with them went perfectly well until they got caught and Alec took the fall for them. On top of his recent problems with the law, at age 19, Alec was sentenced to four years in prison. At the time he was in a on and off relationship with a female he met when she came to visit some people she knew in Chicago. She helped him through the struggle in jail until he got out recently and moved to NY where she and the rest of his close family was located. His cousins got him a job with the best jewelers in NYC and he is currently readjusting to his new life.
When Alec dropped out of high school, DRUG DEALING was the first that give him the money he needed and the tools to survive. Moving to NY didn’t scare him, it gave him a wider range of people to deal to. It wasn’t until he met Giovanni through his cousin and begin to work for him.
NAZANIN KASSEM. ― ex-girlfriend ― Nazanin dated Alec for 4 years of her life until she finally got the chance to break free from his possessive ways. Alec always acted like Nazanin was his property and she hated it. When she finally got the courage to leave Alec, he acted as if he was going to assault her or even worse; kill her. To this day, Alec gets angry at the sound of her voice, the mention of her name, or the sight of her face. When she left, he made several threats that he was going to kill her but she thought he was bluffing. Not knowing what he was capable of.
NIKOLAI CARTIER. ― cousin ― Nikolai and Alec rarely got along because the two were always like hot and cold. Growing up, Nikolai hated being around Alec because of his mouth which resulted in the two fighting constantly. Alec always thought that Nikolai was a bitch because of his laid back and quiet personality but he was proven wrong the last time they fought and Nikolai almost broke his skull open. It took his dad and his uncle to get Nikolai off of him. After the Alec came out of the jail, they renewed their relationship and have been close ever since due to the fact that Alec knows what Nikolai is capable of and seen his work.
DOMINIC MERCER. ― cousin ― Alec and Dominic have always been able to depend on each other. Ever since the two were babies they were attached to the hip because they didn’t have siblings. They always got in trouble together and they always had fun together. When Alec ended up in jail, Dominic was the first person to come see him. The two are inseparable and they handle business together well.
