One Line Wonder || Amadeus and Celeste
Amadeus’s compliments caused Celeste’s cheeks to turn a slight color of red. She peered up at the boy with a wide smile as she kept her arm tightly wrapped around his. “Well, thank you. I tried my best,” she said with a small laugh. “You think it’s nice? I made it myself.” She peered down at her creation and her smile widened. Celeste knew that not only was the dress beautiful but it hugged her in all the right places so to say she was proud of it would be an understatement. As the pair walked, Celeste could tell that the boy was either nervous or captivated by her. It almost made her giggle to think that he was that invested into her looks. However, the silence between the two made the brunette a bit uncomfortable so she decided to spark a conversation as they strolled. “I hope this will be a fun night. Do you know how to dance well?” Celeste questioned as she tilted her head so she could peer up at Amadeus only for another wide smile to form on her lips as she noticed the boys’ cherubic face behind his mask superhero-like mask. “You have pretty eyes,” said the brunette as she chuckled.
Amadeus smiled at Celeste, already glad he'd coughed up the courage to ask her to accompany him tonight. "Whoa, you made it yourself?" He asked, looking the dress over again. It flattered her so well that his cheeks reddened a tad at how he was staring, but he oped she took it as a compliment because he meant well. "It's fabulous. I wish I could do things like that." They were en route to the ballroom already, and seeing as it was only two buildings over he really hoped she didn't mind walking. "I'm sure it'll be a blast," he smiled down at her, adding, "I'm great at ballroom dancing and making a fool of myself, but I d-don't think I'd call myself a professional." The fact that this girl on his arm was being so nice to him was still new to Amadeus, s he couldn't help but keep a little grin splayed across his face. At the girl's compliment his cheeks flushed again and he said, "O-oh, thanks. But they're nothing compared to yours." They were almost at the door, and Amadeus just ran his free hand through his hair and hoped that he didn't completely embarrass himself tonight.
