You barely noticed the few people taking pictures outside, the material of your dress bunched in your fist as you stared down at the phone in your freehand, heels smacking into the carpeted floor of the lobby as you moved towards the elevators. Your heart had made its new home in your throat, the beats loud in your eardrums as the adrenaline coursed through your veins. You didn’t know what you were doing, never this impulsive and unconcerned with the consequences that could arise from blowing off something like a schedule, and yet you didn’t care. All you cared about was finding the room Chanyeol was in that you’d begged one of his handlers to text you, so you could tell him the truth and settle things once and for all.

Jealousy wasn’t something you felt very often, not as prone to it as others seemed to be. You weren’t the type to get angry when someone else won an award over you, weren’t the kind of person that threw venom at someone purely out of agitation they had gotten something you wanted. It wasn’t often that you found yourself staring at someone with such a pure sense of envy it made your brain go fuzzy.
