The clicking of heeled boots are heard slowly approaching the CEO’s office, the Agent holds a saucer of hot tea for her mistress, easily able to balance such a full cup with one hand without needing to adjust. These little services she did for Willow wasn’t in her job description but she wanted to. It gave her an excuse as she rounds the desk to slowly put the plate of tea in front of the woman somewhere on the desk.
This was an excuse, a silent one, as she takes in the scent of Willows hair that day. Vanilla cinnamon. It’s immediate that her heart races fast, while it doesn’t show on her face just how excited she is that her Boss was using the shampoo she recommended, the heat that comes to her cheeks does and she stands coolly, saying not a word as this was enough to satisfy her own needs as she walks away with that same sound of her heels clicking once again. Willow was a busy woman, she’ll be back in an hour to do the same thing all over again.
Willow’s pen scratches over paper, the room otherwise silent as she works with a gentle smile. Her eyes flick upwards at the click of Vector’s heels, lips curling just a touch more before she returns to the various papers scattered in front of her. She reaches for another paper, comparing the charts to the one set in front of her before setting it down and writing her notes on the paper. A busy woman indeed, she’d allow Vector to escape with a mere tilt of her head of acknowledgement for the tea.
It’s the next pass that she acts, her hand reaching to cover Vector’s as her assistant reached for her empty cup. Soft fingers trace along Vectors thumb to curve over the line of her wrist, through the crease of the heel of her palm to the soft center. There she lingers, her hand curling to cup over the edge. Her other hand lifts, tucking an escaped lock of hair behind her ear before she tilts her head up to smile up at Vector.
“Thank you Vector. Your tea makes these long days bearable.” Her voice slips free, lyrical in its sweetness. “I couldn’t do this without you. I don’t feel like I say that enough so…thank you.”
Her hand retraces its path in reverse, returning to her pen. “Ah, I’m sure you’re busy. Please don’t let me keep you. I’ll see you in an hour.”
Side Characters in ZZZ:
Violetta: Runs a noodle shop connected to Dustine’s shop with Nana, Pip’s mom.
Nana and Pip: Dog Thierans. Both live above the noodle shop Nana runs with Violetta. Pip helps Dustine in the shop when he’s not helping with the resturant.
Evan: Lives in the apartments above the noodle shop. Supposed to be a waiter but is always mysteriously missing. Runs a info broker side business
Faust and Friends: Runs a group of Hallow Raiders. Enthralled with Irene for some reason that he only knows and doesn’t seem intent on sharing with others.
The Quad: Technically Faust’s adopted daughters, a quad of horse Thierans that spend more time in Dustine’s shop than with their adopted father.
Scents for the Family:
Wilhelm: Amber, Cedarwood, incense, myrrh, and musk
Elmira: Vanilla sugar, Caramel, and Patchouli
Irene: Rose, Jasmine, Clove, and Sandlewood
Willow: Sweet Pea, Lemon, Vanilla
Dustine: Sea Salt and Sandlewood
I’m going down a perfume rabbit hole again because my ass apparently needs to assign special scents to my characters. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears

Wilhelm is dead. Axis Industries have been left to Elmira and his children. Elmira has no actual interest in it and has returned to manning the desk as an officer with New Eridu Public Security like she did before marrying Wilhelm.
The company was given to Irene when she came of age and after playing ball and growing it beyond her father’s expanse (including rejoining TOPS), she decided fuck that and decided to play Cop instead. Willow is now considered the figurehead (with Irene being the shadow owner) and runs it while dealing with TOPS.
Irene is currently part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team though she’s gunning for for the Hallow Affairs Department or even possibly being taken on as part of the Hollow Investigation Association.
Dustine runs a mechanic’s shop, connected to a restaurant. He fixes up machines of all types from vehicles to bangboos.
