Of all the Beatles songs we could have covered, this ended up being our first one - which is cool! I enjoy songs where I get to do oohs and ahhs. It lets me be lazy about learning the lyrics... not that it helps me very much in this case.

Finally something that I've actually recently done! I finally learned how to make splitscreen videos which brings me one step closer to making the music video I've always wanted to make.

Relish my drum playing because it's extremely rare for me to have access to a drum set.

Part of the reason I have the camera positioned real high up is so the microphone would be farther away - SO SENSITIVE JEEZ.

I remember when Baby Andres first clued me into this song, and we were going to use it as our inaugural jam for our new Trio: Trio Los Nachos. That ultimately did not blossom however, and instead it became a rondalla piece.

This song is solid, and we can usually belt this one out pretty damn well.

Some Kind of Wonderful by Grand Funk Railroad

Over the summer, a few friends and I gathered to play a wedding reception for a very good comrade of ours. This involved practice - and lots of it!

I have some footage of our sessions together, but only some of it sounds and looks nice. LIKE THIS VIDEO RIGHT HERE.

The bassist there learned how to play in weeks just for this wedding. So big big ups to Mike D. for stepping up to the plate.

Speaking of #WayTooMuchWork... I never did get the cloning sequence to sync up exactly. I had forgotten that you actually need a bit of start-up time beforehand, but at that point it was likely 2 AM so screwwww that.

Also, I should've mixed the bass higher. All in the past though!

This is a pretty good song. I like the banda cover more though. Oh, and I know a girl who met Nek. Now I'm out of Laura Se Fue quips.

Coldplay's pretty cool I suppose. They were the first concert I attended, back when this jam was fresh.

So I'm in this group called Rondalla Presencia de Amor and sometimes we get gigs to play music. It's mainly older Mexican tunes but occasionally we deviate from that.

Not this time though! Desden is a song I had never heard of before we played it, and I never really hear it outside of when we play it. But it's good!

I get pretty pumped when I can listen to a song and decipher all the moving parts successfully. AND when I get to use my $20 keyboard which has seen it's better days.

So that's like double pumped. Ride a bike, get a flat, patch the tire, and fill it back up pumped. Drive down to Oregon and have somebody pump my gas pumped.

But man video editing is the worst!

Sometimes I like gimmicks. Who doesn't? This video is in 3D, but not for you. That's why we're wearing the glasses.

I like Yesterday, maybe it's my favorite Beatles song... either that or Eleanor Rigby.
