It's been way to long but the opening is finally coming! Here a few pics of the progress. "Glas in lood" placed in the windows, the matresses are in, our partner Paard van Troje helped us with a few posters and our friend Hertog Jan has arrived!

Working hard every day is finally showing its result. We are not there yet but we are getting close!
Here a few recent pics, the KBZ boys cutting concrete, the Belvedere blue room has turned out very nice! We made the papers a few times, King Darek, the orange room thanks to Vescom, the caravan looking stylish from within and my beds are in the building!

It been a while since we posted a few pics on this blog. Major changes the last few weeks. Construction is almost done, its all about finetuning at the moment.
The custom Quinze&Milan sofa's are in and they are epic. Furthermore, the ladies bathroom has come a long way, The boys finished the firt room with spraypaint, bright green is the koolest kolour, vinyl looking good and wallpaper like you've never seen before!
The new site will be coming soon and working hard to open asap!

Hey there,
Weeks are flying by, the last few were crazy! It's december already and slowly its getting there. I just can't keep up with the pics but here are a few new ones. Most of these shots are related to my tiles. Refin is quality! Very pleased with the result.
Also the monumental wall I wanted from the start is a fact, the boys bathroom, some unique desins, and my new shed.

The weeks are flying by and I can hardly keep up with the posts!
Here a few more pics of the last few weeks. A panorama from the roof, Starting with the cement floors in the bathrooms and my tiles are finally here! They are wicked, lots more pics to come. Was a bit of a mission to get all the kilo's up the strairs but we managed.

Here's another quick update. This week was Kool, my tiles arrived. I was a mission to get everything up the stairs but we managed. As you can see the bathrooms are fitted with lewis, the walls on the BG are made, lots of wood to use for furniture, made a sweet deal on fire resistant vlizo stairs and in the end decided to stuc the walls.

Long days are paying off! Everyday a step closer to the opening. Its funny seeing these pics, at the moment we have made soooo much more progress! This week we got a visit of the fire department, all positive so thats a good thing.

Every week a lot of changes. Serious progress is being made, top two floors are almost done, plumbing included and electricity has been started. It's a bit hectic but still a lot of fun!

Time flies and KiNGKoOL is making progress! Long days and more and more people helping with this wicked project!
Check out the oldschool wooden construction in the basement! A positive surprise of the monument. The first shipments of materials have arrived and are lifted up to the second floor.
Moreover, the construction of the walls has begun!

Finally, it's a GO!!!!
KiNGKoOL is a fact and we have started the second fase of the project, renovating the monument and building the first stylish, comfortable, sustainable, gezellig, funny, design, kick-ass hostel in the city centre of The Hague, the Netherlands.
Before our new website will go live, I will keep you posted via this blog and our facebook and twitter accounts.
As you can see demolition has started and before you know it we will start building.
