Poverty is not about having an enough money to meet our wants and needs including our food, shelter, and clothes. However, poverty is much more than just not having enough money to provide our wants and needs. Nowadays, our country is suffering poverty due to many children was abandoned by their parents and just roaming around street.

In addition to a lack of money, poverty is about not being able to participate in any activities, not being able to send children on a day trip with their schoolmates or to a birthday party, not being able to pay for medications for an illness.  These are all costs of being poor. Those people who are hardly able to pay for food and shelter simply cannot consider these other expenses.

There is no one cause of poverty, and the results of it are different in every case. Poverty varies considerably depending on the situation. These may be defined as fine as “those necessary for survival” or as broadly as “those reflecting the prevailing standard of living in the community.”  It is important that all members of our society work together to provide the opportunities for all our members to reach their full potential. It helps all of us to help one another.

Environmental Destruction

As each day passes, Planet Earth seems to be gradually dying. Melting of glaciers could be observed resulting to the high rise of sea level. Forest fires have been occurring destroying habitats to the wild. Animal degradation have caused extinction. And, pollution lead to human and animal destruction. If you look closely and reflect, who could possibly cause this destruction?  Well, the blame could only be put on us.

               Humans have been dependent to the environment ever since day 1. Since the environment is our only source for survival and livelihood. Without the planet then we wouldn’t be standing here right now. Yes, we need to make use of nature for our resources but we shouldn’t abuse our superiority to the point that we have been consuming the earth too much. We are accountable for our actions and so we must learn to open our eyes and take responsibility. As stewards of God we must make change and help heal the world.

               There are many ways that you could help our planet. With just simple acts then it could bring a big impact.  It may seem to be little but listen, humans are many, we are the most abundant creature here in our world. Learn to start in your homes. Be mindful with your surroundings. Be disciplined enough that whenever you go you could avoid and lessen this issue. If we all take action, then it could truly make a change.

Mental Breakdown

Mental breakdown is a period of mental illness resulting from severe depression, stress, or anxiety. it usually describes to someone having intense pressure and anxiety, and it is hard to overcome. so how can we deal with it?

The chances of experiencing this is when you’re dealing with huge problems like school works, activities and etc. then the symptoms appear. You will experience intense anxiety and stress. After that, you will get depressed and will surely affect your performance in school and will lose focus. Then right now, you are experiencing Mental Breakdown.

To deal with Mental Breakdown, you must ask someone close to you or family and friends so that you can talk about problems and maybe they can help you with your problems. If it’s not effective, then go to a therapist and discuss about it and maybe the doctor can cure you. There also other ways to like enjoy some hobbies so you can ease your stress and anxiety or just work out hard to forgot the pressure in you. And most importantly, always pray to god about your problems and don’t let these problems get ahead of you since thinking about it always will surely affect you greatly. I hope these great tips will help you :)

Poverty can be difficult for Youths and especially to those hailing from low income families. The effect of poverty on American youths has been controversial and this has triggered a great debate across not only the poverty reduction proponents and opponents but also society. Every person; politicians, activists, individuals, youth groups among other bodies reflects on how poverty continues to screw the youths.

A clear understanding of poverty impacts on Filipinos based youth is highly imperative for all professionals, welfare organizations and adults called upon to support young generation. According to several journals such as Prevention Researcher; the effects of poverty are immense among youths. Therefore, any poverty reduction proponents must first engage in surveying meaning, causes, theories on poverty and finally the impacts on youths in Philippines 

The eventual result of this involves low income youth spent nights in emergency rooms instead of nursing beds. This means that the state and community must play an active role in saving these youth from poverty, The federal government should create youth fund, implement substantial drug and abuse prevention based programs that call for the reduction of drug abuse. Moreover, the aged should be provided with business related fund so as to start own business.
