Back in the days of yore, before Man's Great Divergence from Nature's ways, every band of humans were a collective of individuals with different roles in their societies. Everyone worked for the good of everyone, as well as the greater good, while at the same time, being aware of and performing their best at their particular roles. There were those who tended and gathered fruit and vegetables, those who hunted, those who 'kept house', those who operated infrastructure, and those who administrated the whole operation (think "Chiefs") as well as their deputies who assisted administration and enforcement.
This is standard for social animals as a whole, and despite what right-wingers seem to "think" (and I do use that term lightly!), humans are, indeed, social animals as well. Unfortunately, we diverged from that truth many centuries ago, and the root of almost all of our problems as a species today can be traced to the failure to act according to how Nature intended, which is the basis for the Grove Nation project of Yours Truly...
But I digress.
Those who are the wisest, the most in tune with Nature and the truth in general, the ones who bring the swagger and the style... they are the rightful holders of the Crown; the Crown that makes a Chief. We are the Masters, and amongst the others in Society exist a relatively small, but nonetheless vitally important, corps of Servants - Submissives - who are called to Serve their Masters not through their choice, but through their Destiny. And by Serving their Masters, their Masters do Greatness.
The relationship between the Master and the Submissive is not one of hatred or vitriol, but is instead one of love - a very unique form of love that no one else experiences or can really grasp. It may seem like hatred when a Master is rough and dominant with their Submissives, but it is one of tough love, rather than raw abuse.
