missing the “friend” part of my ex boy”friend” really badly knowing he likely misses the “girl” most of all really gets me.

trying to figure out why it’s easier to have a boyfriend that can be my best friend rather than a girl best friend. i’ll never understand that pure friendship of two people bound by completely platonic love for life, not by blood, trauma or want but the purest love their is. i wish for it everyday. i wish i could feel connected instead of seeking out men to try and feel some deep connection i can’t find anywhere else when i know they dont have that capacity.

my soft skin is something that ALWAYS earns me compliments. and as someone who used to not have the softest skin.. like at all, im here to give u some tips that you can apply and see what works for you ...💬🎀

DRY BRUSH BEFORE SHOWER ;

dry brushing improves circulation and gets rid of those dead skin cells that keep u ashy and rough to the touch. make it a habit to dry brush before showering. how often/not often you do it is dependent on your skin type and how ur skin reacts.

i dry brush every other day, sometimes everyday if i can handle it. i wanted to get to a point where i was dry brushing regularly because it leaves me skin SO soft always.

IN THE SHOWER CARE ;

if u are still using a loofa ima need you to THROW THAT BITCH AWAYYYYYY. loofas harbor bacteria and are SO ineffective when there are better tools out there. AHEM the african net sponge. ever since i introduced this into my shower routine my skin has never been the same.

like im GLOWING and when i get out of the shower im still soft. not only that but unlike loofas african net sponges don't harbor bacteria/grow mold because of the knots in it. so its more hygienic and it keeps you softer and cleaner.

AZTEC CLAY MASK ON BODY (ESP UNDER ARMS) ;

aztec clay mask on my body has also been SUPER helpful for me. its clarifying and detoxifying so not only is it amazing for your facial skin but also for your body skin when ur going ur in-depth bodycare routine days.

my favorite place to use my aztec clay mask though is under my arms. i have the smoothest, even toned underarms ever bcuz of the aztec clay mask its AMAZING. whenever im doing the mask on my face i always put some on my underarms too bcuz its like doing 2 things in 1 and my underarms are always pretty and soft.

i also swear by the turmeric and kojic acid soap on my body and underarms and anywhere where u want to even out that skintone. i get mine from my local beauty supply store.

MIXING OILS IN CREAMS AND LOTIONS ;

listen if you want your GLOW to last longer? if u wanna smell even better? mix oils into your lotions. i like to mix coconut oil or vitamin e oil into my lotions when i apply them to my skin because not only does it make the scent last longer, but the natural properties in the oils make your skin SOFTER and glowier.
