She scoffed and then merely rolled her eyes. Why did everyone feel the need to protect her because she was a ‘young lady’? “I’m not that young,” She replied as she moved her hand to her neck and began to scratch at her very lightly freckled skin. All Alessandra wanted was a decent conversation – she didn’t want to dance, not really, not when that could lead to her having to dance with more than just one person.
“Wine would suit me,” She smiled as she looked at him. “It’s what I usually have,” Or well, what she would usually have when her parents would allow it of her. "You're younger than me," he pointed out. He was about Ian's age, give or a take a few years, and he didn't need to know her exact age to know that he was older than her. He also wasn't saying any of that because he was older than her. All Jovan was trying to do was make pleasant conversation. "Wine it shall be then," he said with a small smile before pushing himself off of the pillar and going off to fetch her a goblet and refill his own. It didn't take him long to find a servant and had the task done. And he managed to do it without drawing that much attention to himself. When he returned, he offered her the goblet as he took a drink from his own. "What does one of the princesses of Narnia enjoy doing when she isn't watching her little ward?"
