“Little lotogh, are you sick? You are ill..yet you pushed past the haze of your curse. But it’s still there. Such a sickness does not go away with rest and time.”
@ssanis
“Hubris is a powerful vice. Brings even the strongest men to their feet -- espesially the powerful. The bigger they are, the harder they fall,” A pause, black eyes crawling over the djinn’s mortal form. “I am Merihim, the dreaded plague, as they call me. It is a pleasure, Pride.”
@eadala
“Poor little Kahdija -- you have nowhere to go. Why not sit and talk? It makes this easier for the both of us.”
like for a starter from plague son.

“ AH, BUT THERE is so much more to life than slaughter and destruction, wouldn’t you say? it all becomes a bit tedious as the years linger on, and one must then find other methods of bringing pleasure into their lives. ” the beast inhaled, head tilting back and jaws parting to let forth a growl fueled by fascination. “ to whom does my business concern? you are certainly no mere mortal.. ”
“Those are dangerous and strange words coming from the mouth of a dragon. More to life than slaughter and destruction? And here I thought I’d never live to hear such words from the mouth of the beast,” Warm breath washed over him like a wave, but did not linger. Instead, his icy flesh seemed to shun the feeling, yet onyx eyes glistened in the darkness of the cave.
“I am Merihim, and I aided in the creation of your people.” So casually said, and the story easily recited, as if the Plague god read it from the scrip of a long read over tome. “-- the Titans that fell to Gehennam in it’s creation, as an act of warfare upon Bri and Forsa’s beautiful creation, upon Bas’ betrayal from the side of Scrios...I remember the way your kind tore through the land like butter, crushed life like ants, and brought the world to it’s knees. Then, the mighty titans became nothing more than lost beings trapped within mountain and ocean. But ever so often, they rise up and take up their mantle...while others stay in their mountains and roost gold and gems.”
I’m kind of in love with my new ram skull.

“A fiery tempest -- a natural born Herald of Scrios, and you choose to hide away within the mountains, collecting treasure beyond even the material sort. How strange...for a child of Scrios to stray so far from their calling, zahhak.”
fun facts about merihim:
he is a glutton. he also represents famine, and is known to feast upon the horde of foods he keeps away from his eternally starving host of lesser demons. he eats and eats and eats, but still craves more, never full, always having hunger pangs soon after his feasting. he is said to eat the rotten food of the cities hes decimates, full of maggots and flies. merihim is depicted in tomes and grimoires as a skeletal man with baskets of fruit and bread and fish within his grasp, and the hands of the plagued and dying and thirsty reaching up for a bounty they may never take.

*when you’re evil by voltaire playin in the bg*
I am full of such dark machinations. I am the nightmare on your tongue, the scream in the back of your throat, I am in the marrow of your bones, the sinew of your muscle, I am [they], your blood. I am [they], full of Death.

"Well! As my father likes to remind me, I’ve always been a fan of being the best at something. Why not pick a specialization without many specializers? Though I doubt you’ve come here to simply compliment my looks and abilities, so what do you want? But if you have, please continue.“
“Not only to compliment, but perhaps add onto,” He offered, voice suddenly much more serious, stern even. “I am a patron of many people, especially necromancers. I’ve spent much of my time in Nevarra, but I’ve expanded my reach. You can learn much in travel and in taking oppritunity, my child. I could reach you a few new things about necromancy. Skills invaluable for a mage looking to be the best at their craft.”
