The last thing she had remembered was a flash of light and screaming. There wasnât much else she could think of. Unbeknownst to her, she had been one of the worst hit. She had been knocked unconscious and had some broken bones and burns but hopefully nothing that couldnât be fixed with magic. It had been enough for her to have been out for over twelve hours, her mother sobbing at her side most of the time. EugĂšnie had woken up to her mother there, all but rebreaking some of her ribs with how hard she had squeezed. Her mother had finally left, giving GĂšnie some time to relax. She wasnât being discharged yet but hopefully soon. She was doodling in her sketchbook when she heard the door open behind the curtain surrounding her.Â
henry was doing his last round before he could finally go home. merlin, how much he missed his bed. he was only just hoping that his last patient was not going to be too much of a pain in the ass, honestly. maybe that sounded rude and unprofessional but after working over. 48 hours with barely any sleep, henry didnât care about being polite. âhello,â he smiled at the girl as he pushed the curtain open. âhow are you feeling today, miss parkinson?â he asked as he looked over her patient card. âanything new we should worry about?â
