how to activate sigils

i will upload some of them soon, so for those who don’t know, i’ll list a few methods to activate them!

first, sigils are basically symbols used to gain some kind of effect from. like, when i make a sigil to ward of negative feelings, i can use that to achieve this exact effect. same with other things. of course their use is kinda limited, i can’t just summon a pile of money with one, but personally i like to use them to aid me in my daily life. also, you don’t have to be a witch to use them. they’re just some kind of support, so there’s no harm in trying!

they can either be activated in fast or slow, depending on how you want to use it.

fast methods are: - drawing it on a piece of paper and burning it - drawing it and letting it wash away - drawing the sigil and visualizing energy to activate it (this is good if you want to use it as some kind of charm) - tearing apart the paper it’s written on - deleting the file you have, if you are digital - asking a spirit companion to activate it - putting it near your plants (especially if you care for them really well, they do give you energy back)

slow methods are: - drawing it on your skin - letting it sit under moonlight, or with crystals that have energy in them, or however some energy can go into the sigil - putting it on objects you use often - carving it into candles, so they will activate when the candle burns down

those are some i personally like to use, but of course there are more!

now that i have some time, i thought it would be a good idea to make some kind of introduction here. 

i’m mod crow (and the only mod here), and i’ll be doing requests for you. 

the things you can request are aesthetics, moodboards, sigils, tarot readings and pendulum readings (but don’t trust them too much, the tarot cards are only meant to give advice and to show you possibilities, and the pendulum isn’t always accurate, you should ask yourself too!). i can certainly write positive affirmations and give advice too, so feel free to ask for that too! (although, i’m probably not the best in giving advice about otherkin stuff, but always glad to help. you can ask about non otherkin related stuff too, but that isn’t the main goal here!) i can definitely do aesthetics and moodboards for ocs too, but for those i’d need lots of detail, because obviously i don’t know them.

i can’t do fictionkin requests though, unless i know the source, because otherwise i’d feel uncomfortable. just ask, if you want something!

- when requesting, be as detailed as you want. for aesthetics include a general theme and maybe a colour and for moodboards a feeling and a colour.

- for sigils, i will go from my native language (german).

- if you request pendulum reading, include your initials or something i can call you. and keep it to yes/no questions, those are easiest to do.

- for tarot readings i need initials too. questions can be a bit more complex. i'll either just draw one card, or make a spread, and you'll get my interpretation of it.

i’m mod crow (lacking a cool nickname). i’m an adult (not for long though), and i like to do art and all that stuff. i use he/him pronouns, by the way. i’m still debating if i’m kin at all, because i had some phases where i was pretty sure and some where i really doubted it, so i thought this here would be a good way to find it out. (i think that was the important stuff, ask if you want to know more)
