DESCRIPTION: I am a huge fan of corsets, especially the one by Alexander McQueen made from wood that's now in MET, Body casts from Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler. Look 1 & 2 have the corset/bustier made from dark brown leather and the edges are embroidered and weaved into lace which is made as the top part and the skirt is of two parts, a sheer burnt umber panelled skirt with a sheer embroidered/lace skirt made with lots of Indigo circular patches. Look 3 has a body cast which is cut in a manipulative manner following the contours of female body, and the seams are sewn together in the embroidered lace pattern. I really want to make these garments a reality one day, I love the idea of incorporating lace, leather & leaves.
