I like to think that Elfilin can change into a larger form after absorbing Elfilis but just prefers the smaller form most of the time.

Also that he learned sarcasm from it, but much like the larger form, rarely ever uses it.

An embarrassing percentage of the cast thinks Kirby and Elfilin are related somehow, since they have similar eyes, act similarly, Elfilin looks up to Kirby, and neither puffballs nor elves are very well known species, biologically speaking. Kirby and Elfilin are completely unaware of this

Only Bandana's closest friends can call him Bandee. Usually he goes by Bandana or Bandana Dee, with his full name of Bandana Waddle Dee being used mostly in formal contexts

(I imagine Magolor coming back from the Dream Kingdom and calling him Bandee, only to get harshly corrected)

I like to think that Elfilin and other members of their species have pocket dimensions in their fur. (Mainly based on the fact that chinchillas have very layered fur) Elfilin didn’t know this till after the events of forgotten land and lost some of his favorite trinkets to it by accident.

Of Heart, Dream, Dark, and Soul, Dream is by far the most prevalent and easy to work with, at least in the area Kirby lives in. The other matters are typically present at lower concentrations, like syrups on the ice cream of Dream.*

Beings mostly or entirely composed of other matters can and do exist. However, they tend to be more "alien" to the common perception, like how Star Dream can't properly recreate Dark Matter.

*In this metaphor, I imagine Heart, Dark, and Soul as strawberry, chocolate, and caramel respectively. Chaos is sprinkles.

i got a few for my kirby au

1. Kirby is kinda percieved by others as a mythological being of some kind. hes rarely ever seen, only whenever theres a world ending threat at hand. he loves this reputation tho haha

2. Dark Matter isn't inherently evil. it's too lonely. this is why Gooey isn't evil, bc he has friends. this is also why darkmatter can be so violently possessive, in a weird misguided attempt to not be lonely.

3. you cant convince me there wasnt even a single stray worker who just got left on popstar after stardream went rogue. this isnt something that has any real canon basis i just think its impossible for there not to be any stragglers lol

Zero prefers to exile failed Dark Matters rather than killing them. This is so that they'll be killed by whoever finds them and lower Dark Matter's perceived threat level, so that planets will be unprepared for future conquests.

As seen with Gooey, this does not always work out.
