Part Un of Trois

Duskwood, why do all the people or things that go missing end up in Duskwood? Bah, I should be grateful that we’re not headed towards the Deadwind Pass. That would be asking for trouble. Each step I take is accompanied by the rattling of my armour, I turn to my companion and I fight the urge to warn her of the danger that lurks, skitters, lurches, and prowls this melancholy forest. The simple outfit she wore wasn’t the safest thing to wear in an area known for bandits, zombies, and worgen.  She is a grown woman, she acknowledged the risks of this journey when we met. My eyes dart across her fashionable attire, nothing that could stop an arrow or dagger was visible. Perhaps underneath the well tailored dress-robe-thing was leather? Or perhaps my companion was a magic user powerful enough to summon powerful shields at will?  I begin to recall our first meeting, and I regret not pressing for more information from her.

Meet the bastard child of Whiteblade, an up and coming character involved with Laeima’s storyline as we progress further toward WoD. Played by one of my nearest and dearest friends that I’m lucky to have made as of recent. I’m very excited for the story that’s going to evolve here between Laeima and her bastard sibling, Kirova. There’s already been copious amounts of back story and plotting that have ensued over the past week. And now it’s, finally, all coming to a head.

Look out for a short mini-trilogy involving Laeima, Kirova, Aurumus to be posted on Tumblr over the days ahead — each piece from a different characters’ perspectives.

You’ve all been wondering what Laeima has been up to, and Kirova is it. With the recent news of her brothers’ untimely death, she is the last remaining heir and member of Whiteblade. It only makes sense that she’d seek out the bastard of her fathers’ shame, whom she’s not seen since Kirova fled the Whiteblade Estates some twenty years ago.

I’m amazingly excited for the character diversity and epic story that is to unravel between these siblings: the half-bred and the pure, as the pre-story to <House Whiteblade> makes its tumblr debut.
