Sorry to be the wet blanked, anon but we’ll probably never know because I don’t think he’ll ever finish the books. Doesn’t help that he hasn’t addressed the elephant in the room being that garbage ending by staying silent and leaving his distraught and depressed fans hanging without even a semblance of denouncing what D&D did. It’s a pretty shitty thing to do to the people that have been there from the beginning and got him to where he is. Contacts and respect to the men that ruined his story or not be damned. I’m done with him and his story. All I have is Dany and what she meant to me before s8. Buuuuut, no. I personally don’t think that was GRRM’s intention.
