4. if you could do anything at all today, what would it be?

TRAVEL SOLO TO BAGUIO!! i heard fog season is coming (or has it already begun?) and i would love to witness and experience that. as for stuff i could readily do at this moment (but choosing not to because i'm either busy or lazy for it), perhaps search for new music to add to my playlist, pick up a book, watch a movie, or start a new anime haha

8. favorite month of the year and why?

that would be JANUARY. most people have a negative view of it for being the "slowest" month, but for me that's what makes it great because you get to take a breather and reflect on everything that had transpired in the previous year. it's also usually the coldest month in our country :)

12. dishes or laundry?

i hate hanging the clothes for drying and having to fold them afterwards so i'll have to go with dishwashing BUT with the exception of oily food containers PLEASE ANYTHING BUT THAT

19. Write, type, or speak?

either writing or typing since speaking is not my forte. though if i had to choose only one, then writing it is. i like having a pen in my hand and feeling the friction between its point and the paper as i scribble :>

i was thinking about this a few days ago: engineering of any kind is basically art but with a lot more math involved. you’re designing, drawing, sculpting, and building, but you’re also using physics, different sciences, and of course equations, some more complex than the others depending on which field of engineering you’re in—and even engineering itself is interdisciplinary, like you can be an electrical engineer and go work in the medical field, or a chemical engineer and help design a bridge, or a mechanical engineer and go work for the EPA.

(reblogging as an artist and writer with an engineer’s brain and profound fascination in the natural and medical sciences and always got the weirdest looks whenever i talked about it, like no one—not even counselors and teachers—could believe that i could do such sacrilege)
