岸畔咖啡即將在2026年六月三十號結束一般營業。
原因或許已經有一些朋友知曉了，那就是我們的二房東，即負責紀州庵文學森林營運的財團法人台灣文學發展基金會打算要把這個空間收回去自己用了。
當然，我們也曾力圖挽留，但最後的結果就是如此，有興趣知道背後細節的朋友可以再私訊我們，這背後還有一段蜿蜒曲折的故事。
在將近四年的時間裡，我們獲得了許多新的關係，也失去了許多舊的東西；學會了許多（尤其是法律相關的知識），也認清了許多關於世界、他人與自己的事情；最不捨得的除了這曾發生各式精彩演出的場地，更多的是動物朋友們。熟客應當都知道，在傍晚時分常有一群「古亭幫」的狗狗朋友聚集於岸畔，這裡是他們信任並放鬆的空間，我所掛心的也僅於此了。至於其他部分，老實說，雖在咖啡風味方面我可是無愧於心，但我想轉行已經很久啦！對於開咖啡店這件事情也沒有甚麼想念與遺憾了，更不如說岸畔的結束對我而言或許也是一種解放。
闆娘允蔚寶貝一直希望我能夠對於在這段時光中出現的那些□□□和□□□做出一些譏諷，但我一時也想不到甚麼更精彩的描述、詛咒或是合法的並符合我個人人設的作法，在這點上，允蔚寶貝的技能比我高明太多。不過真的非常感謝允蔚寶貝在這段時間的全力相挺與無私付出，我這輩子欠他早難以還清，這家小破咖啡廳如果沒有他應該早就倒閉了！（允蔚補充：騙老闆錢和跩到不行的那些請直接穿越到米花市被死神小學生狠K至墜入阿鼻地獄謝謝）。
最後，雖然一般營業日到六月三十號，但在七月十四號以前，岸畔可能會舉辦一系列告別活動，目前正在籌劃中，也請大家持續關注我們的相關資訊喔！
We regret to inform you that Kishibe Cafe will be closing its doors permanently on June 30, 2026.
It is disappointing and heartbreaking to bring this journey to an end with our valued customers and caring friends, especially our animal friends. We were unable to reach an agreement with the landlord regarding a lease extension, as the landlord (Kishu An Forest of Literature) has decided to reclaim the space for personal business use. It is frustrating to realize that we have no choice but to close.
The most devastating part is that our cute doggie friends will no longer have a safe little space where they can have fun and enjoy some yum yum treats. We can only pray that whoever uses this space in the future also has a genuine love for animals and is willing to offer them a place to chill and relax a bit. As Bill Murray allegedly said, “I'm suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog when it doesn't like a person,” we sincerely hope that our doggie friends can trust the future owner of this venue.
Also, an important lesson we learned is that we should never trust human beings who claim to be friends but ultimately scam our dear owner Yellow Animal out of a great deal of money. In addition, it’s crucial for us to have basic legal knowledge so that we can defend at least some of our rights when someone fails to meet the agreements in a legally binding contract.
