hi! i go by multiple names, those being jay, noah lapis lazuli (lapis for short), peridot, stolas, and vox!! i am fictionkin of 5 characters (in image: noah td, stolas hb, peridot su, jayfeather wc, and lapis lazuli su) and am quite picky with things to do with them

i have adhd, autism, anxiety, and ptsd (not diagnosed with autism, but multiple therapists and psychiatrists have said i have it, just no official diagnosis.) please be patient with me, social interactions can be extremely hard for me due to all of these things 😓😓😓

Seeing a lot of Pearl hate across all social media platforms right now. Just came here to say she has been my favorite character for 10 plus years and I hate to see her legacy tarnished because all people can focus on right now is her VA. I keep saying this to a lot of people but please separate Pearl from her VA. Yes she does all of the dialogue and singing but that’s her job. Pearl is a character whose personality/storyline were made by Rebecca Sugar. I see a lot of people using the current situation with Deedee as an excuse to make fun of the character that people have loved for years and has not changed. I am disappointed as well but the VA is a real person and might side with something Pearl would never like. Stop calling Pearl MAGA.

Also, on X there is a lot of really weird stuff going around like people saying “shatter pearl” or “Pearl would be conservative”. Either those people hated Pearl before all of this or have never understood the show and what she stands for.

OK but Steven Universe fandom we need to figure something out.

Does Pearl comprehend toilet paper?

I ask because there are two options and they're both pretty great but if Lars of the Stars happens there's a very real chance we see her again and I have BINGO CARDS TO CALIBRATE so real talk for a minute:

One of two things is definitely true about Pearl in Steven Universe Future. Either:

A: She knows what toilet paper is used for and is doing this as a wild and overt confrontation both with her own very strong aversion to the human digestive system and the human aversion to this ASPECT of the human digestive system, OR

B: She does not know what toilet paper is used for except that there's always some in the room she thinks of as the human reflection shrine where every human goes to presumably splash some cool water on their face and gaze contemplatively into a mirror for a bit.

Both are pretty funny but one of them creates the possibility for Pearl to have an absolutely ludicrous crashout over All Of Her Past Actions where she demands Amethyst explain why she didn't say anything and Amethyst just straight up admits it kept getting funnier.
