They give you a soft kiss on the head and whisper, "Its getting late, let's get some sleep" you hesitate not feeling tired quite yet, but they compromise. Put away your things. Turn of the lights. Settle in with your head on their chest, and softly talk to you about their day, running their hands softly through your hair, cooing gently as your eyes start to droop, and before you know it, the calming presence and soothing sound of their voice have you falling asleep in their arms. Tomorrow you may have work, or school, or even a day to yourselves. But right now that doesnt matter. Right now you're warm, and safe, in the arms of the person who loves you most <3
