Sometimes I imagine my present self meeting my 13-year-old self, and when she asks something about her future, I start explaining that I’m obviously hallucinating, because time travel is impossible due to the expansion of the universe, the motion of astronomical bodies, and the general relativity of time and its distortions. And my 13-year-old version listens to me and says: "I didn’t want to draw attention to this, but you’re wearing medieval clothes and holding a sword, so…" I could explain the concept of role-playing games to my 13-year-old self, but I think the idea of time travel would be much easier for her to grasp.

My parents live in a city that's really-really close to the russian border and routinely being attacked by their drones. There's where my parents are registered to vote. The location of the polling stations is publicly available info, and they anyway are usually located in local public schools. You think, russia is not going to attack the polling stations in my city, the city they can easily reach with a variety of weapons, the city where, btw, pro-russian candidates had never been favored even at the best of times? Who is gonna ensure the safety of the voters in my city? Is Trump going to send an air defense squad there for the election day? Are UN gonna do it? Cause, forgive my negativity, but I really fucking doubt they'd be happy to.

Ok after a quick emergency (ran out of milk, for cocoa) I have decided to make a cover for every episode of Malevolent! We start with episode one, The Dark World. I can't promise how frequent this will be, but I'm optimistic about catching em all.

I've made a nice, clean, simple design but I'm not satisfied- I wanted to do something more creepy, so I might do a redraw. Versions without vignette and text below the cut.

Fun fact, Boris Grokh was born in Evpatoria, Crimean city. Studied in Crimean art college. Currently lives in Lviv. It’s not hard to summarise what exactly made him move to Lviv.
